Working at Freudenberg: We will wow your world!<h1>Responsibilities:</h1><ul><li>Lead and develop a small team of direct reports—assign priorities, remove roadblocks, and coach day-to-day execution to deliver new products and improvements on schedule.</li><li>Serve as the resident expert on internal manufacturing process capabilities to ensure designs are practical and production-ready.</li><li>Lead engineering projects that support the broader product portfolio and business strategy—owning scope, timing, risk, and technical outcomes.</li><li>Create, read, and interpret engineering drawings to drive clear specifications and effective design intent.</li><li>Manage the product lifecycle including design, prototyping, testing, and PPAP—driving disciplined execution and strong technical documentation.</li><li>Represent Product Engineering in cross-functional problem solving and continuous improvement to improve quality, cost, and speed-to-market.</li><li>Support customers, suppliers, and internal teams with technical information—serving as the engineering point of contact for product/process quality concerns and maintaining regular supplier communication.</li></ul><h1>Qualifications:</h1><ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Engineering (preferred) or related field.</li><li>3-5 years experience in Product Engineering.</li><li>Previous management or supervisory experience preferred.</li><li>Technical knowledge of automotive components.</li><li>Proficiency with 3D CAD tools—preferably Siemens NX or SolidWorks.</li><li>Experience managing product lifecycle from concept through launch.</li><li>Strong communication, project management, and collaboration skills with the ability to manage workload in a team environment.</li></ul>‎ ‎ The Freudenberg Group is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to diversity and inclusion.
