As an Accounting Manager, you will be a key contributor within Terawatt’s finance department as we scale. This is an opportunity to contribute meaningfully to Terawatt's growth in the clean energy transition.</p></div></ul><h3>Core Responsibilities</h3><ul><div><div><span style="text-decoration:underline;">Financial Reporting &amp; Policy</span></div><li><p>Own preparation of  monthly, quarterly, and annual corporate and consolidated reporting packages for multiple entities - including Balance Sheet, Profit and Loss, Statement of Equity, Segmented Reporting, Annual Financial Statement of Notes, and Management’s Discussion and Analysis, with a strong commitment to data integrity and reporting accuracy</p></li><li><p>Manage end-to-end preparation of audit packages and serve as the primary liaison for external auditors.</p></li><li><p>Conduct accounting policy research and author policy memos for complex transactions.</p></li><li><p>Build and maintain a SOX-standard control matrix and embed best practices into the reporting framework</p></li><li><p>Partner with Operational Accounting and FP&amp;A leads to ensure reporting accuracy and strategic alignment.</p></li><div><span style="text-decoration:underline;">Treasury &amp; Dept Managerment</span></div><li><p>Support daily treasury operations and develop weekly cash flow forecasting models.</p></li><li><p>Assist with monitoring debt covenants, ensuring timely compliance reporting and proactive risk mitigation.</p></li><li><p>Contribute to the development  of an updated treasury policy to optimize returns on passive cash</p></li><li><p>Support the VP Controller on special projects related to capital raises and scaling initiatives.</p></li></div></ul><h3>Minimum Qualifications</h3><ul><div><li><p>Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field.</p></li><li><p>Active CPA designation is required. </p></li><li><p>Minimum of 5 years of post-designation experience.</p></li><li><p>Demonstrated experience in complex accounting research, policy writing, and full-cycle financial reporting.</p></li><li><p>Deep US GAAP understanding and hands-on experience</p></li><li><p>Experience in cash management, forecasting and debt covenant monitoring.</p></li><li><p>Familiarity with SOX framework.</p></li><li><p>Demonstrated ability to take ownership of complex workstreams from inception to completion with minimal direction.</p></li></div></ul><h3>Preferred Qualifications</h3><ul><div><li><p>Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field.</p></li><li><p>Background in audit or consulting experience in a Big 4 firm is preferred.</p></li><li><p>IFRS experience would be considered a plus</p></li><li><p>ASC 946 experience would be an asset</p></li><li><p>Experience in cash management, forecasting, or debt covenant monitoring</p></li><li><p>Systems: Experience with NetSuite ERP is highly preferred</p></li><li><p>AI: Claude and Gemini experience is an asset.</p></li></div></ul><br><div><em style="font-size:16px;">We are building a team that represents a variety of backgrounds, perspectives, and skills.
