ABOUT THE ROLEThe Marketing Analyst will be a key member of the Marketing organization and will be tasked with partnering with internal and external stakeholders. Key focus areas will be analyzing full-funnel media which will include data wrangling, model building, data cleansing, cross-validation, and maximizing model accuracy for the entire funnel. Specific areas of focus include performance marketing measurement & attribution, customer segmentation, conversion behavior, post-campaign analysis, dash-boarding/reporting, optimization, and forecasting. This role will work closely with internal stakeholders and will be tasked with bridging the gap between Marketing and internal stakeholders (e.g., Business Intelligence, Marketing, Data Science, and Product). This role will also work closely with agency partners. 
WHAT YOU’LL DO (RESPONSIBILITIES):*Maintain strong controls related to data quality and integrity and embed this in all delivered products*As an analyst, you will be responsible for understanding Aspirations data, marketing analytics data sources, tools, and data pipelines.*You will support the team in data collection, reporting and insights, dashboards, data visualization, data mining, audience measurement, brand, and competitive intelligence.  *The Analyst will perform hands-on analysis and make optimization recommendations; make data-driven recommendations about where the team could increase business impact*Explore and extrapolate data-driven insights with agency and internal media teams*Develop new approaches to grow our user base through data-driven marketing optimization*Provide insight into the current customer base (high-value segments, demographics, purchase cycle, etc.) and recommend targeting strategy*Evaluate reporting to identify redundancies, automated solutions, and efficiencies to minimize manual processes*Create and maintain statistical models, and analyze large amounts of customer data to isolate key trends and business opportunities.*Along with your manager, enable data-driven solutions to support the marketing department (e.g., a bottoms-up marketing forecast)Monitor forecasting solutions and quarterly re-forecasting based on conversion metrics and data analysis.*Update team during business reviews, focusing on tracking against KPIs that support business objectives.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING (SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS):TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS:*Solid understanding and experience with relational databases, data schemas, SQL and similar reporting systems, data warehouses, report visualization tools, and common data manipulation tools*Working knowledge of web analytics tools, such as Amplitude or Google AnalyticsExperience using SQL to manage and analyze structured and unstructured data*Proficiency with at least one data visualization platform (e.g., Looker or Tableau)*Proficiency in querying and manipulating complex raw datasets for analysis using SQL, Python, or R*Working knowledge of Segment and Mobile attribution platforms is a plus 
ANALYTICAL REQUIREMENTS:*Experience working with Marketing Analytics*An excellent understanding of the online measurement ecosystem and performance metrics. *Strong quantitative analytical skills, statistical knowledge, data visualization skills, storytelling, and the ability to build strong partnerships to drive impact across the organization*Experience with data gathering, model building, data cleansing, cross-validation, and model building (e.g., time series, regression)*Expertise in analyzing large amounts of customer data to isolate key trends and business opportunities*Strong understanding of approaches to measurement, data analysis, and statistics*Experience working in fast-paced, agile, ambiguous multi-geographic environments*Conducts exploratory data analysis and applied statistical methods*Strong quantitative analytical skills, statistical knowledge, data visualization skills, storytelling, and the ability to build strong partnerships to drive impact across the organizationImpeccable attention to detail and strong ability to convert complex data into insights and action plans*Strategic thinker, flexible problem solver, great listener, and team-oriented*Expertise in analyzing large amounts of customer data to isolate key trends and business opportunities.*Experience with statistical analysis (e.g., hypothesis testing, probability, prevalence measurement, regressions, experimentation logic and biases, data modeling techniques, time series analysis)*Strong understanding of analytics process—strategy, tracking, reporting, analysis, and actionable recommendations*Ability to manage multiple tasks to completion within established deadlines
