Backed by world-class industrial leaders and investors — including Breakthrough Energy, Energy Impact Partners, Rio Tinto, Aramco, SABIC, SCG, TITAN, Microsoft, H&amp;M, and John Doerr — Rondo is building the next generation of industrial energy infrastructure at global scale.We are looking for an experienced, highly skilled Project Manager to oversee our upcoming projects internationally, ensuring successful execution from a technical, financial, and operational standpoint.    What You Will Do (key responsibilities for this role include but are not limited to):  <ul><li>Overall responsibility for project delivery of thermal energy storage projects.</li><li>Develop and oversee comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation. Ensure alignment with overall company goals.</li><li>Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks. Implement strategies to maintain project schedules and budgets while minimizing risks.</li><li>Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including sales, engineering, supply chain, finance, and legal departments as well as clients, subcontractors, and regulatory authorities. Act as a primary point of contact for clients.</li><li>Coordinate interfaces between contractors, vendors, consultants and 3rd parties involved in the project.</li><li>Coordinate a multidisciplinary team responsible for the delivery of energy storage projects from FEED &amp; permitting through to commissioning. Develop and communicate a clear project vision, strategy, and objectives.</li><li>Help coordinate the site team (internal and/or outsourced).</li><li>Champion a culture of safety and quality, ensuring that all projects adhere to EPC contract requirements, industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.</li><li>Prepare and present regular project status reports to the executive team and key stakeholders. Provide insights into project performance and recommendations for improvement.</li><li>Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the project delivery process, identifying opportunities for increased efficiency, quality and lower cost.  </li></ul>  What You Will Bring:  <ul><li>Degree in an Engineering discipline; Mechanical, Chemical, or Structural preferred</li><li>Minimum 10 years of relevant experience.</li><li>Proven track record of successfully delivering complex construction projects (&gt; 25 MUSD) on time and within budget.  </li><li>In-depth knowledge of construction methods and regulatory requirements.</li><li>Proficiency in project management software and tools.</li><li>Previous international experience.</li><li>Experience in dealing with clients, contractors, utilities and local authorities.</li><li>Curious quick learner with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Entrepreneurial, self-motivated and able to independently drive projects.</li><li>Pro-active and initiative-taking.</li><li>Strong leadership, team/building, communication and negotiations skills.</li><li>Speak and write English fluently. Other languages would be a plus.</li><li>Flexible and adaptable with a "can-do" attitude.</li><li>Ability to work well under pressure.  </li></ul>  Bonus Points!  <ul><li>Experience in thermal energy storage projects. </li><li>A background in industrial process plants — anything from Oil &amp; Gas and petrochemicals to biomass, CSP, or combined-cycle power.</li><li>Knowledge of Primavera software.    </li><li>Proficiency in other languages</li><li>Experience in a fast-paced start-up environment deploying novel technologies on large scale is highly desirable.  </li></ul>  What We Offer:   <ul><li>Private Healthcare (Alan Spain) </li></ul>This role will be hybrid, and based in Madrid Spain.
