This role collaborates with suppliers and cross-functional teams to drive quality, resolve issues, and support successful product launches.</p><h1>Key Responsibilities</h1><ul><li>Review PPAP submissions for completeness and compliance with AIAG and customer requirements.</li><li>Validate dimensional data, control plans, FMEAs, material certifications, testing, and MSA results.</li><li>Coordinate with suppliers to resolve documentation gaps and drive corrective actions.</li><li>Track PPAP status and escalate risks or delays.</li><li>Prepare Part Submission Warrants and approval documentation.</li><li>Maintain accurate PPAP records and revision control.</li><li>Support audits, launch readiness, and design/process changes.</li><li>Review capability studies, Gage R&amp;R, and process validation data.</li><li>Manage interim approvals and supplier resubmissions.</li><li>Initiate and support supplier corrective actions (SCARs) and root cause analysis.</li><li>Provide in plant supplier quality support where needed.</li></ul><h1>Required Qualifications</h1><ul><li>Bachelors degree with five (5) or more years in quality, supplier quality, or PPAP coordination.</li><li>Working knowledge of AIAG Core Tools (PPAP, APQP, FMEA, MSA, SPC).</li><li>Ability to read engineering drawings, GD&amp;T, and technical specifications.</li><li>Experience reviewing dimensional reports, certifications, and validation documentation.</li><li>Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office and quality/document management systems.</li></ul><h1>Preferred Qualifications</h1><ul><li>Master’s degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, or related field.</li><li>Certifications in quality or AIAG Core Tools.</li><li>Experience with QMS systems, supplier portals, or PPAP platforms.</li><li>Familiarity with ISO 9001 or IATF 16949.</li><li>Experience with statistical analysis and process capability.</li><li>Background in manufacturing or supplier quality environments.</li></ul><h1>Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities</h1><ul><li>Understanding of PPAP requirements and supplier documentation expectations.</li><li>Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy.</li><li>Effective cross-functional collaboration and supplier communication.</li><li>Ability to identify issues and drive timely resolution.</li></ul><h1>Work Environment</h1><p>Primarily office-based with regular interaction with manufacturing, engineering, and suppliers. Occasional travel may be required.</p>
