Here is what you will be doing:As a Technologist in our Transportation Planning and Traffic Engineering Team, you will be responsible for undertaking specialised analysis and developing traffic / transportation designs on a diverse array of infrastructure projects. These projects will encompass major roads, public transport systems, non-motorized transport, railway corridors, ports and harbours, as well as urban developments across Africa and beyond. Technical Excellence:<ul><li>Contributes to the development of technical proposals.</li><li>Develops design by gathering, correlating and analysing engineering data using computer software and established procedures and standards.</li><li>When possible, collects and analyses information from discipline and interdisciplinary project models.</li><li>Develops the design content by applying both design and technical knowledge to ensure the production of high-quality outputs by following project timelines.</li><li>Works on detailed or routine engineering assignments involving calculations, specifications, sketches, diagrams, specific discipline models, drawings, reports and tender documents.</li><li>Identifies discrepancies in results and proposes an approach to solving new problems encountered. Performs work under the agreed-upon budget and schedule with moderate supervision.</li><li>Coordinates with other team members as applicable for the design process's continuity.</li><li>Maintains and develops the highest level of technical skills and abilities, ensuring the quality of production for accuracy to design instructions.                                                               </li></ul>Client Relationship Management:<ul><li>Begins to participate in client meetings to discuss project requirements, explain/defend work, etc.</li><li>Participates in the development and preparation of bids and proposals.</li></ul>
