Develop key metrics and log data for response and review. Strong understanding of routing and switching protocols, Optical Transport Networks, and high-availability service design models.</li><li>Vendor Ecosystems: Proven experience managing complex, multi-vendor hardware environments (Cisco, Arista, Palo Alto, Fortinet, Juniper, etc.).</li><li>Engineering Rigor: Strong understanding of traffic engineering and QoS design principles, with the ability to analyze network packet traces.</li><li>Mindset: A measured, safety-conscious approach to infrastructure management, balancing rapid physical expansion with rigorous security and enterprise standards.</li><li>Education: A Bachelor's Degree in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.</li></div></ul><h3>Bonus Qualifications </h3><ul><div><li>Industry Experience: Experience supporting network infrastructure in the autonomous vehicle, transportation, logistics, or industrial environments.</li><li>Automation &amp; IaC: Familiarity with network automation tools and infrastructure-as-code principles (e.g., Ansible, Terraform, Kubernetes, or Salt) to drive efficiency and scale.</li><li>Scripting: Knowledge of shell scripting and programming languages such as Python.</li><li>Certifications: Advanced Network (CCNP, CCIE, AWS, etc.) and Project Management (PMP or equivalent) certifications.</li><li>Operations Centers: Experience implementing 24/7 network monitoring operations or integrating with a centralized Operations Center.</li><li>Process &amp; Frameworks: Solid understanding of ITSM/ITIL frameworks.
