The RoleWe are seeking a detail-oriented Project Administrator to provide administrative support to our Brisbane Rail &amp; Metro team. The Project Administrator is instrumental in the development and production of project deliverables within all facets of project administration, document control, data processing and general administrative support to the project.Working closely with our engineers, you will be a vital member of the team supporting our project and the broader administrative team with professional administrative support.To be successful, you must have excellent communication, time management and interpersonal skills. We're looking for someone with the right approach to work and a passion to prepare proposals and documents, create and monitor projects in SMEC’s systems and provide general admin support in a corporate environment. Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Assisting with preparation of bids and submissions</li><li>Supporting the financial functions of the team, including resourcing projections, project invoicing and monthly reporting</li><li>Preparing, coordinating and distributing documents, reports and presentations</li><li>Assisting with providing effective administrative support and coordination of the local team</li><li>Establish and maintain project controls systems and procedures that assist in the development and production of project deliverables. </li><li>Take an active role in formalising and managing the Project Management, Project Quality Assurance, WHS and Document Control Procedures adhering to SMEC’s policies and procedures.</li><li>Ensure analysis and site tasks undertaken meet appropriate technical standards and requirements of the client and SMEC</li></ul>About You<ul><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills to advise and guide project delivery in a pro-active manner</li><li>Minimum 4 years’ experience working in a similar role.
