Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership &amp; Strategy<ul><li>Lead implementation of plant-level HSE strategy aligned with corporate directives.</li><li>Drive Green Pathway implementation to enhance safety maturity.</li><li>Promote a proactive safety culture through leadership engagement and behavior-based safety initiatives.</li></ul>Safety Performance &amp; KPIs<ul><li>Own and drive reduction in Reportable Incident Rate (RIR).</li><li>Implement and scale Hazards Made Safe (HMS) initiatives across the plant.</li><li>Monitor leading and lagging indicators and ensure timely corrective actions.</li></ul>Contractor Safety Management<ul><li>Implement and strengthen the Contractor Workmen Safety Program.</li><li>Ensure 100% compliance of contractor Safety Passport system, onboarding, and training.</li><li>Conduct contractor safety audits and performance reviews.</li></ul>Risk Management &amp; Compliance<ul><li>Lead risk assessments (HIRA/JSA) and implement mitigation plans.</li><li>Ensure compliance with statutory requirements (Factories Act, Pollution norms, etc.) and internal standards.</li><li>Liaise with regulatory authorities and support audits/inspections.</li></ul>Incident Management<ul><li>Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and CAPA implementation.</li><li>Share learnings and best practices across locations.</li></ul>Training &amp; Capability Building<ul><li>Develop and implement HSE training programs for employees and contractors.</li><li>Build competency across all levels for safe operations.</li></ul>Emergency Preparedness<ul><li>Ensure readiness through fire safety systems, mock drills, and emergency response infrastructure.</li></ul>KPIs / KRAs<ul><li>Reportable Incident Rate (RIR): &lt; 3.5</li><li>HMS (Hazards Made Safe): Minimum 4 per employee per year</li><li>Contractor Workmen Safety Program: 100% Safety Passport compliance</li><li>Green Pathway Implementation:  50% by 2026 &amp; 90% by 2027</li></ul>Qualifications &amp; Experience<ul><li>Degree in Engineering / Science</li><li>Diploma in Industrial Safety (mandatory)</li><li>8–12 years of HSE experience in manufacturing</li></ul>Key Skills<ul><li>Strong leadership and stakeholder management</li><li>Data-driven safety performance management (RIR, HMS)</li><li>Contractor safety expertise</li><li>Knowledge of ISO 45001 &amp; ISO 14001 systems</li><li>Excellent communication and problem-solving skills</li></ul>
