<div>Last Energy is seeking a Senior Sales Engineer to support counterparty management and deal execution for our micro-modular nuclear power plant pipeline. This role sits at the intersection of technical credibility and commercial execution — you will be the person in the room who can speak fluently to a data center infrastructure team about power delivery, thermal management, and interconnection requirements.</div><br><br><h3>Key Duties &amp; Responsibilities</h3><ul><div><li>Serve as the primary technical resource for prospective counterparties throughout the sales cycle, from initial qualification through contract execution</li><li>Lead technical presentations, site assessments, and power requirement scoping sessions with customer engineering and infrastructure teams</li><li>Support term sheet and contract negotiations by translating complex plant specifications into clear commercial terms counterparties can act on</li><li>Develop and maintain deep knowledge of Last Energy's PWR-20 plant design, output characteristics, interconnection requirements, and delivery timelines</li><li>Build and manage relationships with technical decision-makers at target accounts, including data center developers, hyperscalers, and industrial off-takers</li><li>Collaborate closely with Last Energy's engineering, project development, and legal teams to ensure deal structures are technically and operationally feasible</li><li>Identify and escalate technical risks or misalignments early in the deal process to protect project timelines</li><li>Contribute to proposal development, RFP responses, and customer-facing technical documentation</li><li>Track and report on pipeline status, counterparty technical requirements, and deal progress</li></div></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><div><li>8+ years of experience in a technical sales, sales engineering, or applications engineering role in power generation, fuel cells, electrical equipment, or adjacent industries</li><li>Demonstrated track record selling complex power or energy infrastructure to data centers, hyperscalers, utilities, or large industrial customers</li><li>Strong working knowledge of power systems, electrical equipment, or process/mechanical systems relevant to power plant delivery</li><li>Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, single-line diagrams, and plant specifications</li><li>Exceptional communication skills — equally effective in presenting to C-Suite and negotiating with a project engineer</li><li>Experience supporting or co-owning commercial negotiations, term sheets, or PPAs</li><li>High agency and comfort operating in an early-stage, resource-constrained environment</li><li>Preferred: background in fuel cell systems, gas turbines, modular power, or other distributed generation technologies sold into data center or industrial markets</li></div></ul><br>
