This position will identify Supplier, In process and customer claims. Also this position will be responsible for cost savings and coordinate the division-wide effort to reduce Supplier, In process and Customer claims associated with BorgWarner components and BorgWarner assemblies. To identify, analyze, and reduce claims, cost savings and incidents to achieve zero defects in the plant and customer end. Works directly with Internal stake holders and customers to gain quick resolution to all product complaints.Key Roles &amp; Responsibilities:<ul><li>Review internal and customer rejections and experience in Root cause analysis and taking corrective measures &amp; monitoring its effectiveness (through G8D, CAPA &amp; QC-Story method)</li><li>Demonstrated Abilities in Achieving Zero Defect, Zero Complaints, Green Customer Score Card</li><li>APQP, PPAP, MSA study, SPC analysis, FMEA, VDA 6.3, CQI 9, 11.</li><li>Coordinating during External audit (IATF 16949-2016) &amp; Customer audits.</li><li>Monitoring Customer score card in terms of 0 km Incidences, PPM, Line stop, NCR, Lot Rejections and presenting and communicating the recommendations to the management.</li><li>Identifies risks to Quality in the existing processes and initiate improvement actions in coordination with manufacturing and process engineering.</li><li>Need to confirm the manufacturing or production processes meet BW Quality standards.</li><li>Prepare revalidation plans for assembly and sub assembly, Layout inspection plan for manufacturing products and ensure timely adherence.</li><li>Reviewing customer requirements and meeting the requirements in the given timeline.</li><li>Working with purchasing to establish quality requirements from external suppliers.</li><li>Looking at ways to reduce waste and increase efficiency.</li><li>Setting up and maintaining controls and documentation procedures</li><li>Monitoring performance by gathering relevant data and producing statistical reports</li><li>Using relevant quality tools and making sure the quality standards are met</li><li>Monitoring existing supplier quality performance in terms of Incidence, PPM, Line stop, NCR, Lot Rejections and presenting and communicating recommendations to the management.</li><li>Training the suppliers on Supplier Manual, Supplier Scorecard, BorgWarner policies and procedure</li><li>Report on Environment, health and safety related issues on the available communication mediums.</li><li>Ensure safety audits completion on time and vigilant to safety at workplace for safe working environment.</li><li>Leading GSSF element by implementing GSSF procedures and ensure sustainability of the elements assigned.</li><li>Safety Incident investigation &amp; Closing responsibility with 8D </li></ul><div></div><ul><li>Minimum 10-15 years of work experience preferred in automotive or automotive supplier industry in field of warranty engineering.
