Your mission At IONITY, we are developing digital products that power the e-mobility ecosystem. As an IT Product Owner for an agile backend team, you are responsible for maximizing the value delivered by your agile team within an Agile Release Train (ART).You work closely with Business Owners, Product Management, System Architects, and other Product Owners to understand the vision and roadmap. You translate Features into well-defined Stories and ensure their successful delivery within Planning Intervals (PIs), contributing to a reliable and value-driven flow across domains.As an IT Product Owner in a SAFe environment, you:<ul><li>Strongly influence the evolution of your domain and its technical roadmap</li><li>Translate product features into detailed technical user stories for backend services and domain logic</li><li>Create, maintain, and prioritize the product backlog, structuring it into incremental releases</li><li>Define functional and non-functional acceptance criteria and ensure testability</li><li>Provide transparency on scope, status, risks, and dependencies</li><li>Coordinate with other Product Owners to identify integration points across domains and ensure product and release coherence</li><li>Lead and actively participate in all agile ceremonies</li><li>Track progress and address production issues during sprints</li><li>Analyze preferences and requests of internal stakeholders</li></ul> Your profile <ul><li>Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or similar relevant field</li><li>2–5 years of professional experience as IT Product Owner for agile teams</li><li>Strong understanding of backend development, APIs, and domain-driven system design</li><li>Solid understanding of SAFe (team and program level), including ART ceremonies and PI planning</li><li>Strong in requirements analysis, story slicing and prioritization</li><li>Quality mindset (“shift left”: considering testability, NFRs, DoR/DoD from the start)</li><li>Strong facilitation and communication skills to align business and technical stakeholders</li><li>Very good communication skills in English – German is a plus - #LI-Remote</li><li>Ability to lead a cross-functional development team</li><li>Strong analytical skills combined with a creative, solution-oriented mindset</li><li>Motivated to familiarize yourself with new topics</li><li>Genuine interest in the e-mobility industry</li><li>Prior experience with backend systems or domain-driven development is a plus</li></ul>
