You will work closely with Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Engineering, and Operations teams to ensure supplier performance, product quality, and manufacturing readiness as the company continues to grow.</p><p>The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced startup environment, enjoys solving complex quality challenges, and is excited to operate in a highly cross-functional and execution-focused role.</p><p><strong>Primary Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li style="line-height:2;">Lead supplier quality activities including supplier qualification, onboarding, audits, and ongoing performance management</li><li style="line-height:2;">Develop and maintain supplier quality requirements, scorecards, and corrective action processes</li><li style="line-height:2;">Partner closely with suppliers to drive root cause investigations and corrective actions for quality issues</li><li style="line-height:2;">Establish incoming inspection plans, sampling methodologies, and acceptance criteria for critical components</li><li style="line-height:2;">Monitor supplier quality performance metrics, including defects, yield, responsiveness, and corrective action effectiveness</li><li style="line-height:2;">Support supplier process validation, APQP, PPAP, and manufacturing readiness activities where applicable</li><li style="line-height:2;">Collaborate with Supply Chain teams to ensure component traceability, risk mitigation, and supplier scalability</li><li style="line-height:2;">Partner with Manufacturing and Engineering teams to resolve production quality issues and improve process capability</li><li style="line-height:2;">Lead failure analysis, root cause investigations, and implementation of corrective and preventive actions</li><li style="line-height:2;">Analyze quality data and trends to identify risks, improve performance, and drive continuous improvement initiatives</li><li style="line-height:2;">Participate in design reviews and manufacturability discussions to ensure quality is built into products and processes from the outset</li><li style="line-height:2;">Support the implementation and execution of core quality processes, including NCR, IQC, MRB, and CAPA</li><li style="line-height:2;">Contribute to building a strong culture of quality, accountability, and operational excellence across the organization</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li style="line-height:2;">5+ years of experience in supplier quality, manufacturing quality, or quality engineering roles</li><li style="line-height:2;">Demonstrated experience managing supplier quality performance within a hardware manufacturing environment</li><li style="line-height:2;">Strong knowledge of APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, SPC, control plans, and process validation methodologies</li><li style="line-height:2;">Experience with supplier quality systems, incoming inspection programs, NCR, MRB, and CAPA processes</li><li style="line-height:2;">Experience conducting supplier audits and driving supplier corrective actions</li><li style="line-height:2;">Experience working within ISO 9001-compliant environments</li><li style="line-height:2;">Strong problem-solving skills and experience applying structured root cause analysis methodologies</li><li style="line-height:2;">Ability to work independently and effectively in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment</li><li style="line-height:2;">Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills</li></ul><p><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li style="line-height:2;">Experience working with contract manufacturers and global supplier networks</li><li style="line-height:2;">Experience supporting electrochemical, hydrogen, energy, industrial equipment, or related systems</li><li style="line-height:2;">Professional certifications such as ASQ CSQP, CQE, CQA, Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt, or equivalent quality certifications</li></ul><p>#LI-Onsite</p><p><strong>Compensation and Benefits | P4</strong></p><div><div><div>MA Zone</div><div><span>$135,000</span><span>—</span><span>$158,000 USD</span></div></div></div><div><p>Actual base salary offered to the hired applicant will be determined based on their work location, level, qualifications, job-related skills, as well as relevant education or training and experience.​</p><p>Base salary is just one part of Electric Hydrogen’s total rewards package.
