In this high-visibility role, you will be the strategic TPM driving complex manufacturing infrastructure and capital expenditure (CapEx) projects from initial concept through final commissioning. You will serve as the critical bridge connecting Zoox's internal cross-functional engineering teams with external architectural, construction, and equipment partners, ensuring our capital investments translate into world-class production environments.</div><br><br><h3>In this role, you will:</h3><ul><div><li><p>Manufacturing Project Lifecycle Management: Drive the planning, detailed engineering design, and execution for complex manufacturing facility upgrades and line implementation.</p></li><li><p>External Partner Interface: Act as the primary technical liaison, managing relationships, schedules, and deliverables with external Architectural &amp; Engineering (A&amp;E) firms, general contractors, and equipment integrators.</p></li><li><p>Cross-Functional Integration: Orchestrate tight alignment across Vehicle Engineering, Manufacturing NPI, Facilities, and Supply Chain to ensure facility infrastructure and layouts perfectly support product architecture and material flow.</p></li><li><p>CapEx &amp; Risk Mitigation: Own integrated program schedules spanning facility preparation through tool and equipment installation. Track heavy capital expenditure budgets and proactively resolve critical path risks to ensure seamless operational readiness.</p></li></div></ul><h3>Qualifications: </h3><ul><div><li><p>BS/MS in Industrial, Mechanical, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related discipline.</p></li><li><p>8+ years of TPM or operations experience, with a proven track record leading large-scale industrial CapEx projects or facility build-outs from concept to commissioning.</p></li><li><p>Deep technical expertise in manufacturing integration, facility layouts, industrial automation, and equipment installation.</p></li><li><p>Demonstrated ability to negotiate with external vendors and drive consensus among cross-functional technical teams.</p></li><li><p>Exceptional communication skills, capable of synthesizing complex technical and financial data into actionable leadership updates.</p></li></div></ul><h3>Bonus Qualifcations</h3><ul><div><li><p>Experience collaborating directly with Product Development or Design Engineering teams to influence Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and ensure smooth new product introductions (NPI).</p></li><li><p>Experience scaling manufacturing environments in the Automotive, EV, Aerospace, or Advanced Robotics industries.</p></li><li><p>Proficiency with factory design tools (AutoCAD, Navisworks) and advanced program management software (Smartsheet, MS Project).</p></li></div></ul><br><div><b>About Zoox</b></div><div>Zoox is developing the first ground-up, fully autonomous vehicle fleet and the supporting ecosystem required to bring this technology to market.
