<h2>Overview</h2>We are designing the grid of the future!  Lead a team of power system engineers performing modeling and NERC technical studies for clients. Responsibilities include client account management, supporting business development, project management, and development of direct reports.<h2>Responsibilities</h2>How you can make an impact:<ul> <li>Take responsibility for the timely completion of projects while meeting all project quality and budget objectives.</li> <li>Interact with clients to seek input and address their needs and concerns with respect to the project(s) study scope of work.</li> <li>Lead a team of electrical engineers to perform ERCOT IBR modeling tasks and NERC PRC-0.29 study.</li> <li>Develop and grow the capabilities of engineers within the team and the larger organization.</li> <li>Perform advanced and specialized studies of the power grid utilizing industry standard analysis platforms such as PSS/e, PLSF, TSAT and PSCAD.</li> <li>Lead process improvement efforts identifying opportunities to enhance organizational efficiencies focused on maximizing team bandwidth while ensuring quality and timeliness of client deliverables.</li> <li>Support business development activities including development of RFP responses &amp; scope of work statements for clients, outlining EPE deliverables and projected completion dates.</li> <li>Experience leveraging AI and automation tools responsibly to improve quality, productivity and innovation under experience (bring your passion section. </li></ul> <h2>Qualifications</h2>Bring your passion, here's what’s needed:<ul> <li>Proficient with all least one of the power system analysis software: PSSE, PSCAD, TSAT and PSLF</li> <li>Bachelor of Science or higher in Electrical Engineering with power system emphasis.</li> <li>Wide range of experience with ERCOT modeling requirements and procedures. </li> <li>Minimum 5 years (in excess of degree requirements) * of working experience in the power system industry with at least 2 years of working in a supervisory role.</li> <li>Proven knowledge of power system and IBR modeling </li> <li>Proven team player skills with ability to build and maintain internal and external relationships.</li> <li>Strong organizational and communication skills, both written and verbal, particularly with respect to explaining technical matters.</li> <li>Have high standards on producing quality reports and products that he/she shall own with pride.</li></ul> Lead the change! Be a part of an innovative team shaping the grid of the future through advanced energy intelligence.  For more than half a century, Electric Power Engineers (EPE) has partnered with power and energy clients across the globe, providing consulting expertise and energy intelligence software solutions for complex engineering and grid modeling challenges.
