<h2>Overview</h2>What You’ll Be Doing Cadmus seeks qualified candidates to expand its growing portfolio of work at the intersection of cybersecurity and government solutions. The Critical Infrastructure Cybersecurity Leader is a key role in our Federal Operating Group and will lead client delivery, business development, and serve as the company’s cybersecurity expert across a range of federal and utility accounts focused on water, infrastructure, and emergency management. The successful candidate will bring broad cybersecurity expertise and a versatile skillset to provide direct client support to government and commercial clients. The preferred candidate will have significant experience leading or serving in a leadership role on major contracts or programs in the Federal Civilian or utility (preferable water) market and will have demonstrated experience leading and winning new cybersecurity contract opportunities. For more information, visit cadmusgroup.com.<h2>Responsibilities</h2><ul> <li>Serve as the senior technical expert overseeing cybersecurity projects and programs, including technical, financial, operations, and reporting</li> <li>Supervise multi-disciplinary teams of Cadmus staff, partners, and subcontracts to execute client engagements and win new business</li> <li>Serve as the company’s cybersecurity expert for government and commercial clients and as a thought leader at external events</li> <li>Ensure high quality and responsive delivery of services under Cadmus contracts and achieve exceptional client ratings for services performed under major contracts </li> <li>Help clients secure SCADA, industrial control systems (ICS), and broader operational technology (OT) environments used in utility and infrastructure operations</li> <li>Conduct vulnerability assessments and translate findings into operational impacts for key government and utility stakeholders (e.g. executives, operators, engineers)</li> <li>Lead initial evaluation of and understanding of penetration testing and identification of resolutions to enhance an organizations overall cyber posture</li> <li>Conduct ICS/OT network mapping, secure configuration reviews, segmentation assessments, and incident response planning tailored to government and utility environments with legacy and proprietary technologies </li> <li>Evaluate or implement cybersecurity controls for infrastructure systems, including remote access security, authentication/authorization, asset management, patching constraints, and monitoring/logging solutions appropriate for OT networks </li> <li>Provide incident response planning, tabletop exercise, and response support to government and utility environments</li> <li>Support and advise clients on cybersecurity governance, policies, training</li> <li>Support and lead business development efforts in partnership with Cadmus’ Business Development team and key account leads </li> <li>Mentor and develop junior and mid-level staff in technical delivery</li></ul><h2>Qualifications</h2><ul> <li>Master’s Degree or PhD in a relevant field, preferably Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or Information and SCADA Systems </li> <li>Minimum 10 years of demonstrated experience serving as a lead cybersecurity expert supporting major contracts or programs with similar responsibilities to this job’s requirements for government and/or utility clients </li> <li>Minimum 10 years of staff and team management experience </li> <li>Consulting or other relevant experience in the infrastructure sector with preference for experience in the water sector with government clients such as EPA, Army Corps of Engineers, or utilities. Other relevant infrastructure or regulated sector experience such as energy, transportation, and telecom is also acceptable.</li> <li>Candidate should be a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)</li> <li>One or more relevant cybersecurity certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CompTIA Cybersecurity Analyst+, Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), or other relevant certifications</li> <li>Experience building, leading and mentoring teams of consulting staff </li> <li>Demonstrate excellent communication and presentation skills to establish interest, credibility, and trust </li> <li>Ability to earn U.S. Government security clearance and/or Suitability – requires U.S. citizenship</li> <li>Occasional travel required </li></ul>Preferred Qualifications:<ul> <li>Knowledge of ICS/OT protocols, architectures, and vendor platforms commonly used in water sector utilities </li> <li>Familiarity with EPA, DHS/CISA, and state regulatory expectations for water sector cybersecurity, with the ability to guide utilities in preparing for audits, compliance reviews, and federal/state-funded cybersecurity improvement initiatives</li> <li>Experience building and improving Cyber Capacity of Water/Wastewater Agency Response Network (WARN) Programs </li> <li>Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and standards, including NIST CSF, NIST SP 800-82, AWWA Cybersecurity Guidance &amp; Tool, EPA sanitary survey cyber requirements, and WaterISAC 15 Cybersecurity Fundamentals</li> <li>Experience analyzing AI implications for utility system cybersecurity</li> <li>Proven business development experience with Federal Civilian Agencies or utility clients</li> <li>Proficiency in languages other than English  </li></ul>Additional Information: Based on eligibility and job status, Cadmus offers an excellent benefits package to include: medical, dental, vision, company paid disability and life insurance, 401(k) program, paid time off (PTO), paid holidays, voluntary time off (VTO), tuition reimbursement, adoption assistance program, other optional benefits and various bonus programs. The salary range for this position is $180,000 - $250,000.
