Position Summary: The Assembly Tech Lead is responsible for providing guidance and support to subordinate team members in order to meet production schedules. Duties and Responsibilities: <ul><li style="margin-left:8px;">Model Jupiter Bach’s hierarchy of operation SQDC (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost)</li><li style="margin-left:8px;">Take responsibility of subordinate team members adherence to SQDC hierarchy</li><li style="margin-left:8px;">Meet with manager and/or supervisor daily for schedule and updates</li><li style="margin-left:8px;">Ensure that the team is operating under current work instruction guidelines</li><li style="margin-left:8px;">Verify proper use of Drill &amp; Tap templates, fixtures, gauges, drill stops, tape measures, tooling, and required hardware.</li><li style="margin-left:8px;">Confirm drilled and tapped holes meet requirements for size, location, depth, thread quality, and cleanliness.</li><li style="margin-left:8px;">Identify and escalate oversized holes, mislocated holes, damaged threads, over-drilling, and other nonconforming conditions.</li><li style="margin-left:8px;">Support safe crane movement of panels, fixtures, and assemblies within the Drill &amp; Tap process.</li><li style="margin-left:8px;">Provide accurate hands-on-training to team members as needed</li><li style="margin-left:8px;">Perform quality inspections, and correct subpar quality items before releasing to the next department</li><li style="margin-left:8px;">Accurately complete all required paperwork and turn in daily as required by manager or supervisor</li><li style="margin-left:8px;">Responsible for maintaining and securing tools daily</li><li style="margin-left:8px;">Perform audits accurately and on time as scheduled</li><li style="margin-left:8px;">Responsible for team’s adherence to scheduled breaks</li><li style="margin-left:8px;">Responsible for maintaining acceptable level of cleanliness of production area daily</li><li style="margin-left:8px;">Inventory of production items as required by manager</li><li style="margin-left:8px;">Adheres to the safety rules of JUPITER BACH</li><li style="margin-left:8px;">Other duties as assigned</li></ul> Education and Experience Required:<ul><li style="margin-left:8px;">HS Diploma or GED Equivalent from an accredited institution</li><li style="margin-left:8px;">Experience with required tools for the production process is required</li><li style="margin-left:8px;">Knowledge of the production process is required</li><li style="margin-left:8px;">Proven dependability, performance, and attendance is required</li><li style="margin-left:8px;">Ability to read, understand, and convey work instructions to team members is required</li><li style="margin-left:8px;">Must be willing to be utilized in other departments and production roles as necessary</li></ul> Preferred Education, Experience, and Skills:<ul><li style="margin-left:8px;">Effective written and verbal communication skills </li><li style="margin-left:8px;">Forklift certification is preferred</li><li style="margin-left:8px;">High level of accuracy and attention to detail</li><li style="margin-left:8px;">Experience with drilling, tapping, measuring, mechanical assembly, or similar precision manufacturing work.</li><li style="margin-left:8px;">Experience using cranes, lifting fixtures, rigging points, or coordinated material handling in a manufacturing environment.</li><li style="margin-left:8px;">Ability to identify unsafe lifting conditions, poor part support, damaged tooling, and potential quality risks before work continues.</li><li style="margin-left:8px;">Knowledgeable in JUPITER BACH/OSHA Safety Requirements</li></ul> Physical Requirements: Qualified applicants must be able to perform the following physical job requirements, with or without reasonable accommodation:<ul><li>Must be able to lift up-to 50 pounds 4+ hours per shift</li><li>Must be able to use power and hand tools in a safe manner 4+ hours per shift</li><li>Must be able to work in hot, humid, and cold manufacturing environment</li><li>Must be able to work in crowded spaces for 4+ hours per shift</li><li>Must be able to bend and crawl for 4+ hours per shift</li><li>Much be able to crouch, kneel and stoop for 4+ hours per shift</li><li>Must be able to climb ladders for 4+ hours per shift</li><li>Must be able to sit, stand and walk for 6+ hours per shift</li><li>Must be able to perform simple grasping, push, pull, perform fine manipulation, and feel for 6+ hours per shift</li><li>Must be able to operate foot pedals for 4+ hours per shift</li><li>Must be able to make fine distinctions in sound, express and exchange written or spoken words, and distinguish objects and equipment visually </li></ul>   </div>
