Born in Texas in 2003, we own and operate over 30 utility-scale wind, solar, and energy storage projects in local communities across the United States, totaling 4 gigawatts (GW) of generating capacity.  LRE continues to help meet increased U.S. energy demand through our robust pipeline of new projects every year. Domestic jobs and manufacturing are fundamental to our full-lifecycle approach to projects, along with a long-term ownership model and a company culture dedicated to our community partners and protecting the natural environment.  Job Summary:The Accounts Payable Supervisor (M1) will be responsible for essential activities in the accounts payable function and supervise a team of Accounts Payable Associates. <h1>Essential Functions:</h1><ul><li>Supervise and lead a team of three accounts payable associates, providing guidance and performance evaluations.</li><li>Assist with 1099 Preparation.</li><li>Monitor the AP inbox and OCR process.</li><li>Handle vendor email escalation.</li><li>Assist with vendor maintenance, additions, changes, and fraud prevention process.</li><li>Oversee the recording of vendor payments and approvals for the AP Associates.</li><li>Manage the workload of three employees.</li><li>Prepare a weekly list of unpaid invoices for all legal entities and determine payments to be made based on funds availability, working closely with the Treasury Department.</li><li>Review the weekly duplicate invoice report.</li><li>Oversee the Concur process.</li><li>Perform additional tasks assigned by the AP Manager.</li></ul><h1>Qualifications:</h1><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree preferred.</li><li>3 plus years of experience in accounts payable, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.</li></ul><ul><li>Strong understanding of accounting principles and AP processes, including invoices, purchase orders, payments, and cash management.</li><li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills.</li><li>Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.</li><li>Experience in a high-volume, multi-entity environment.</li><li>Experience with Microsoft Dynamics is replace with preferred.</li><li>Experience with Maximo PO software is a plus.</li><li>Strong skills with Microsoft Office products, i.e., Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.  </li><li>Discretion/Confidentiality a must.</li><li>Must be professional, personable, approachable, and courteous.</li></ul>#LIHybrid<h1></h1><h1>Physical Demands:</h1><ul><li>Position will require sitting for long periods of time.</li><li>Occasionally able to lift up to 10  pounds.</li></ul> <h2>Applicants must have current authorization to work for any employer in the United States on a full-time basis without the need for an employment visa now or in the future.
