You will be responsible for defining, challenging, and validating a BMS solution developed with an external supplier, while ensuring its performance, safety, and system integration.</p><p>You guarantee that the delivered BMS meets all requirements through independent verification and deep system understanding.</p></div><br><br><h3>Main responsibilities :</h3><ul><div><p><strong>1. BMS Technical Ownership &amp; System Architecture</strong></p><ul><li>Own the end-to-end BMS architecture at system level</li><li>Co defines, with the battery pack architect, functional and technical requirements based on battery pack and vehicle constraints</li><li>Specify detailed performance targets of the BMS (accuracy, timing, thresholds, robustness)</li><li>Ensure BMS consistency with cell behavior and overall battery system</li><li>Is responsible for design justification documents creation and maintenance into PLM system</li><p><strong>2. Supplier Management &amp; Technical Challenge</strong></p><ul><li>Act as the technical owner of the BMS delivered by the supplier</li><li>Review, challenge, and approve:</li><ul><li>Hardware and software design</li><li>Algorithms (SOC, SOH E and SOH R, SOP, balancing, diagnostics)</li><li>Available and acceptable max power Algorithm</li><li>Lead BMS technical reviews</li><li>Identify gaps, manage risks, and drive corrective actions</li><li>Ensure full alignment between supplier deliverables and internal expectations</li><p><strong>3. Verification, Validation &amp; Acceptance</strong></p><ul><li>Define and own the independent BMS verification strategy</li><li>Establish requirements traceability and validation matrix</li><li>Review and approve supplier validation plans and results</li><li>Design and execute internal validation activities:<ul><li>SIL / MIL / HIL testing</li><li>Battery pack and system-level validation</li><li>Fault injection and edge-case testing</li><li>Define clear acceptance criteria and ensure compliance before release</li><li>Ability to tune the BMS software based on calibration test outcomes</li><div><p><strong>4. Electrical Architecture &amp; Component Strategy</strong></p><ul><li>Define battery pack electrical architecture in collaboration with system leader</li><li>Select and dimension key components (contactors, fuses, sensors, etc.)</li><li>Define fault management and redundancy strategies</li><li>Ensure safe and reliable operation under all conditions</li><p><strong>6. BMS Algorithms, Calibration &amp; Performance</strong></p><ul><li>Define and validate BMS calibration strategy using cell data (SOx, OVP, UVP, OTP, etc.)</li><li>Review and benchmark supplier algorithms performance</li><li>Define KPIs for accuracy, robustness, and response time</li><li>Develop and validate thermal runaway detection strategies</li><p><strong>7. System Integration &amp; Interface Management</strong></p><ul><li>Ensure integration of BMS into the full battery system and vehicle environment</li><li>Manage electrical and communication interfaces (CAN, etc.)</li><li>Resolve system-level issues involving BMS, cells, and power electronics</li><li>Ensure coherent system behavior under normal and fault conditions</li><div><p><strong>8.
