Be on the team that's changing the world. What we’re looking for: The Manager, Construction Program oversees multiple project managers and guides projects through the full lifecycle, ensuring all sites are built to Nexamp standards and contractual requirements. They work closely with the Regional Director of Construction to align regional goals and support team performance. With deep experience in solar PV construction and contract management, they provide critical leadership, structure, and support as Nexamp expands into new markets. You will be hybrid 2-3 days every other week out of our Chicago, IL office. You will report to the Senior Director, Deployment.What you’ll do:<ul><li>Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget in partnership with the Director of Construction and project teams.</li><li>Align construction teams by coordinating closely with Field Operations and Quality leadership.</li><li>Monitor regional project progress and regularly updates the Director of Construction.</li><li>Review development and contract documents to identify risks and ensure compliance with Nexamp standards.</li><li>Approve third-party EPC invoices and verifies accuracy.</li><li>Support project managers with engineering and procurement needs.</li><li>Manage construction risk by reviewing insurance, waivers, warranties, finance requirements, and reporting.</li><li>Oversee project deliverables, schedules, and budgets across a large portfolio to reduce exposure and ensure successful execution. </li></ul>What you’ll bring:  <ul><li>5+ years of construction management experience within the solar industry at a senior level Project Manager or higher.</li><li>2+ years of people leadership experience.</li><li>Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.</li><li>Valid driver’s license.</li><li>Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications. </li><li>Strong administrative and technical skills, including computers, SCADA, data acquisition, and remote systems.</li><li>PV system and storage commissioning experience preferred; medium-voltage knowledge a plus.</li><li>OSHA 10 required, OSHA 30 preferred.</li><li>Working knowledge of civil, electrical, and utility construction is preferred.</li><li>Professional trade licenses (e.g., CSL, NABCEP PV) are nice to have.</li><li>Commitment to Nexamp's mission and have a passion for solving tomorrow's climate crisis today.</li><li>Demonstrated experience in effectively communicating information, ideas, and perspectives with people inside and beyond your organization.   </li><li>Experience in showcasing initiative to make improvements to current work, processes, products, and services across the organization. In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual bonus programs based on individual and company performance, non-annual sales incentive plans, or other non-annual incentive plans). Additionally, you may be eligible to participate in the Company’s stock option plan.
