OUR UNIQUE APPROACH TO CARBON CAPTURE
Based on environmentally friendly solid sorbent technology, our carbon capture and removal solutions offer companies in heavy emitting, hard-to-decarbonize industries a commercially viable way to capture and remove CO2 emissions. The CO2 we capture is concentrated to pipeline-grade purity, which can be safely transported and stored underground or used to make other products.

Design Verification Co-op

Purpose of the Role: As the Design Verification Co-op you’ll join the Carbon Capture Product Design Team in pushing the boundaries for carbon capture technology design. You’ll work closely with design engineers and scientists to develop and validate test methods, execute experiments, analyze data, and report findings that directly impact product development and manufacturing quality. Required Skills and Qualifications:<ul></ul><ul><li>You are enrolled in a mechanical, materials, physics, mechatronics, chemical, or integrated engineering program (3rd or 4th year).</li></ul><ul><li>You have a strong understanding of fluid mechanics, materials, and thermodynamics. </li></ul><ul><li>You have familiarity with Python, Excel, or other data analysis tools. </li></ul><ul><li>You have experience with lab work, instrumentation, or experimental design. </li><li>You are familiar with hand tools and rapid prototyping techniques. </li></ul><ul><li>You have CAD skills (e.g., Creo or SolidWorks) and interest in fixture design.</li></ul> What Success looks like in this role:<ul></ul><ul></ul><ul><li>You'll develop and qualify verification methods for carbon capture modules, components, and materials.  </li></ul><ul><li>You will plan and execute design verification tests using advanced lab equipment such as universal testing machines (UTMs), laser scanners, high-resolution microscopes, and environmental exposure chambers. </li></ul><ul><li>You will create equipment manuals and work instructions to support repeatable, high-quality results. </li></ul><ul><li>You'll build custom product prototypes for proof-of-concept validation. </li></ul><ul><li>You will analyze experimental data and create visualizations to assess product performance, durability, and material characteristics.</li></ul><ul><li>You write clear, concise verification reports that link test results to design decisions and customer requirements.  </li></ul> Equal Employment Opportunity Statement Svante is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer.
