Join our Finance department as our new Project Controller (m/f/x) and work with us to close the gap to a sustainable future. Your new role​As a Project Controller, you’ll be a key financial partner to our project delivery teams—ensuring strong financial governance, accurate project accounting, and actionable insights that enhance project outcomes. You’ll work closely with Project Managers and collaborate with Senior Leaders, acting as a trusted advisor who brings clarity, control, and commercial acumen to every stage of the project lifecycle. As our new Project Controller, you will work with the project team to deliver solutions to our clients. You will be part of the Water department in Denmark. You will work as part of a lively team, filled with people who are really excited about creating the exciting business proposals of the future. Our team is vibrant, innovative, international, and supportive. You will collaborate with your colleagues to play a critical role in defining and delivering projects that involve global clients. Our team is known in Ramboll for being especially good at celebrating project milestones and colleague birthdays, so you can expect to join for lots of celebrations.Your key responsibilities will include: <ul><li>​Proactively manage the financial performance of your project portfolio, driving value through revenue recognition, risk management, working capital optimisation, and project monitoring. </li></ul><ul><li>​Champion financial governance by ensuring compliance with project accounting standards, internal controls, Ramboll’s policies and procedures, tax, statutory and audit requirements. </li></ul><ul><li>​Responsible for Project set-up and ongoing maintenance </li></ul><ul><li>​Contribute to the continuous improvement of Ramboll’s financial processes and systems. </li></ul><ul><li>​Provide financial advice to stakeholders, identifying risks and opportunities early and offering practical, data-driven solutions. This may include participation in tender reviews. </li><li>Apply an innovative mindset to streamline and enhance financial operations. </li></ul><ul><li>Support change initiatives with agility, helping teams adapt to evolving business priorities. </li></ul><ul><li>​Build strong, collaborative relationships with Business Controllers, Project Managers, and senior leadership. </li></ul><ul><li>​Partner with our India-based support team to ensure timely and accurate project maintenance and billing. </li></ul> About you​We’re looking for someone who combines technical expertise with a growth mindset and a collaborative spirit.
