Manage day to day operations of electrical areas and coordinates activities of electricians. Responsible for electrical maintenance program. Directs and performs all duties involving electrical maintenance.</h2><h2><br><b>Detailed Description:</b></h2><ul><li><h2>Follows all department and plant SOP’s and procedures.</h2></li><li><h2>Controls and evaluates electrical maintenance program.</h2></li><li><h2>Identifies electrical problems, finds solutions in a timely manner.</h2></li><li><h2>Oversee all estimates of electrical repair costs.</h2></li><li><h2>Works on blueprints, wiring diagrams, shop handbooks, layouts and other specifications to determine materials and working procedures needed in the maintenance of machinery, equipment and structures.</h2></li><li><h2>Repairs and installs electrical equipment and component parts.</h2></li><li><h2>Installs electrical work according to state, federal and company requirements/laws.</h2></li><li><h2>Installs power supply wiring and conduit for newly installed machines and equipment such as robots, conveyors, and programmable controllers.</h2></li><li><h2>Responsible for the development and implementation of policies and procedures for building electrical maintenance schedules.</h2></li><li><h2>Conducts plan layouts of wiring and installs wiring, conduit, and electrical apparatus in buildings.</h2></li><li><h2>Conducts building safety inspections ensuring that protection and safety systems are in operational order and comply with safety codes.</h2></li><li><h2>Diagnoses and replaces faulty mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components of machines and equipment.</h2></li><li><h2>Plans and performs work requiring a thorough knowledge of electrical principles, properties of various materials, principles of operation and application.</h2></li></ul><ul><li><h2>Interacts with internal and outside contacts to provide guidance on building safety</h2></li></ul><h2><br><b>Requirements:</b><br>To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Know NEC and building codes.
