Voltus is a remote and virtual company, distributed across US, Canada, and abroad with many team members in New York, San Francisco, Boston, Toronto, Chicago, Los Angeles, Washington, DC and other cities.</div></div><br><br><h3>Job Duties:</h3><ul><li>Apply knowledge of the distributed energy resources industry to deliver aggressive sales plans, ensuring the team exceeds its qualified booked meetings goal.</li><li>Responsible for growing and developing a team of Sales Directors.</li><li>Identify, build and nurture successful new relationships with large commercial, institutional, and industrial customers.</li><li>Deliver against quarterly and annual sales goals and generate cash for customers while fulfilling the promise of the energy transition.</li><li>Support, coach and develop a team of Sales Directors to meet their goals.</li><li>Find creative ways to inspire the team and drive performance.</li><li>Own their market and territory, identify opportunities throughout customer lifecycles.</li><li>Work cross-functionally to drive impactful customer engagements.</li><li>Timely reporting and management of sales team activities through internal CRM systems.</li><li>Develop and drive best practices across the organization.</li><li>Use data to track progress toward goals and identify areas to develop and improve the team.</li><li>Continually make us a better company.</li></ul><h3>Requirements:</h3><ul><li>Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field, or foreign degree equivalent.</li><li>1 year of account-relationship management or business development experience in the energy market.</li><li>At least 1 year of experience developing regulatory strategies, marketing communications and customer relationships.</li><li>At least 1 year of experience leading sales and customer engagements, and delivering projects to customer satisfaction.</li><li>At least 1 year of experience with SalesForce, GoogleSuite or similar CRM tools.</li><li>Demonstrated ability collaborating with executive, product, marketing, and customer success teams to drive use cases, solutions, and product-market fit for strategic initiatives and value propositions.</li><li>Demonstrated ability managing a sales cycle and meeting sales goals.</li><li>Telecommuting permissible from anywhere in the U.S.</li><li>50% domestic travel required to visit current and prospective customers, mainly in California.</li></ul><br><div>Additionally, while Voltus is an all-remote workplace, we have limitations on where employees are able to work for regulatory and security reasons.
