We are dedicated to cultivating an equitable and inclusive environment that embraces our differences, and supports and celebrates all of our team members.</p></div><div><p><strong>What you’ll do:</strong></p><ul><li>Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for all aspects of System, Software and Airborne Electronic Hardware (AEH) Design Assurance processes for Archer internal development and for Suppliers.</li><li>Review and approve Software/AEH life-cycle data for Archer internal development and for Suppliers.</li><li>Execute System Design Assurance Reviews for Archer internal system development according to the established system processes and tools for compliance with ARP4754A/ARP4761 and support the Certification Authorities reviews for ARP4754A.</li><li>Execute Supplier Oversight and Design Assurance Company Reviews as SME for Systems, Software and AEH developments according to Archer established process for compliance with ARP4754A/ARP4761, DO-178C and supplements, DO-254 and other certification regulations. </li><li>Support the generation and independent reviews of Archer System, Software and AEH development and verification processes, as needed.</li><li>Contribute to the continuous improvement of the Archer System, Software and AEH processes, with focus on compliance with ARP4754A/ARP4761, DO-254 DO-178C and supplements.</li><li>Interface with FAA DERs and Certification Authorities for coordination, execution and follow-up of systems, software and AEH compliance reviews.</li><li>Maintain and control the issues found in all System/Software/AEH design assurance activities until resolution.</li></ul><p><strong>What you need:</strong></p><ul><li>10+ years of experience in System and Software/AEH Design Assurance activities for aerospace standards.</li><li>At least a BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent.</li><li>Experience with full lifecycle safety critical systems, software/AEH complying with design assurance standards like ARP4754A/B, ARP4761, DO-254 and DO-178C with supplements.</li><li>Experience with multiple systems and software/AEH environments and tools.</li><li>Excellent organizational and communication skills.</li><li>Experience in fast-paced, demanding work environments.</li><li>Experience with agile/lean methodologies.</li></ul><p><strong>Bonus qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>Experience with Tool Qualification following DO-330.</li><li>Experience with Model Based Development and Verification following DO-331.</li><li>Experience with DO-326/DO-356 and DO-355.</li><li>Experience with System and Software/AEH developments for an aircraft OEM.</li><li>Experience with FAA Certification Compliance Reviews and regulations.</li><li>Familiarity with Archer CM Tools, e.g. Polarion, Collaborator, Git/Bitbucket, TeamCity, Jira and Teamcenter.</li></ul><p>Please note that this job description is intended to provide a general overview of the position and does not include an exhaustive list of responsibilities and qualifications.</p><p>At Archer we aim to attract, retain, and motivate talent that possess the skills and leadership necessary to grow our business.
