Job OverviewA Warehouse Operative’s primary responsibilities will be receiving, storing, picking, packing, and dispatching goods while maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring compliance with warehouse health and safety standards. The role is based primarily at our site in Gateshead, although travel to our site in Cramlington may be required. The role reports into the Warehouse Supervisor. Key ResponsibilitiesIn this role the Warehouse Operative will be responsible for the following:<ul style=""><li style="color:rgb(118,113,113);font-size:10pt;margin:3px 0px;letter-spacing:0.25px;line-height:1.6;">Attend scheduled daily Start of Shift Warehouse meetings</li><li style="font-size:10pt;margin:3px 0px;letter-spacing:0.25px;line-height:1.6;">Complete start of shift safety checks on all material handling equipment</li><li style="font-size:10pt;margin:3px 0px;letter-spacing:0.25px;line-height:1.6;">Packing and despatching orders whilst maintaining accurate records and documentation.</li><li style="font-size:10pt;margin:3px 0px;letter-spacing:0.25px;line-height:1.6;">Responsible for receiving deliveries, booking in using the Company ERP system and locating stock into assigned locations.</li><li style="font-size:10pt;margin:3px 0px;letter-spacing:0.25px;line-height:1.6;">Load/unload goods onto vehicles with use of FLT when required.</li><li style="font-size:10pt;margin:3px 0px;letter-spacing:0.25px;line-height:1.6;">Operate forklifts, pallet trucks, and other equipment in line with training and safety guidelines.</li><li style="font-size:10pt;margin:3px 0px;letter-spacing:0.25px;line-height:1.6;">Ensuring customer orders are packed in line with packaging specifications to ensure all finished goods arrive in a safe and quality assured condition</li><li style="font-size:10pt;margin:3px 0px;letter-spacing:0.25px;line-height:1.6;">Demonstrate attention to detail regarding goods, ensuring prompt checks for damage, basic inspection, reporting faults and any delivery / paperwork errors</li><li style="font-size:10pt;margin:3px 0px;letter-spacing:0.25px;line-height:1.6;">Communicate with supply chain when delivery errors occur.</li><li style="font-size:10pt;margin:3px 0px;letter-spacing:0.25px;line-height:1.6;">Responsible for picking and kitting of product / parts for production using the Company WMS</li><li style="font-size:10pt;margin:3px 0px;letter-spacing:0.25px;line-height:1.6;">Maintain a clean, safe, and organised warehouse environment, ensuring that daily 5S standards are adhered to.</li><li style="font-size:10pt;margin:3px 0px;letter-spacing:0.25px;line-height:1.6;">Conduct regular stock checks and assist with cycle counting and inventory accuracy, including EOY financial stock check.</li><li style="font-size:10pt;margin:3px 0px;letter-spacing:0.25px;line-height:1.6;">Build product systemically using WMS.</li><li style="font-size:10pt;margin:3px 0px;letter-spacing:0.25px;line-height:1.6;">Move finished products to dispatch or storage areas.</li><li style="font-size:10pt;margin:3px 0px;letter-spacing:0.25px;line-height:1.6;">Comply with company policies, including health &amp;
