If you are ready to build the future of transportation alongside people who inspire you every day, you belong here.</p><h2>Responsibilities</h2><ul> <li>Fabricate complex wire harnesses, troubleshoot intricate electrical systems, and collaborate with Engineering on process improvements</li> <li>Build and self-inspect complex wire harnesses; operate acceptance tests, isolate faults, and perform component-level repairs</li> <li>Contribute to projects and drive efficiency in a production environment</li> <li>Follow and document work via Google/Microsoft Suites and digital instruction platforms</li> <li>Maintain a clean, organized work area while performing all job functions safely, professionally, and in accordance with company standards</li></ul><h2>Required</h2><ul> <li>High School Diploma/GED equivalent </li> <li>3+yrs of experience in harness fabrication or related electronics manufacturing</li> <li>Detail-oriented, builds quality assemblies and enjoys creative problem-solving</li> <li>Basic level understanding of electronic components, electronics design, troubleshooting complex systems, and the ability to distinguish wire colors</li> <li>Ability to lift 50 lbs., maneuver in tight spaces (bending, stooping, crawling), work extended hours/weekends as needed, and travel up to 10%</li> <li>Strong attention to detail, a professional demeanor, and collaborative problem-solving skills</li> <li>Self-motivated team player with a positive attitude and a passion for mastering new technologies</li></ul><h2>Desired</h2><ul> <li>Associate’s or technical degree preferred; IPC-A-620, IPC-J-STD-001, or FAA certification standards are a strong plus</li> <li>Experience with electrical systems quality inspection</li> <li>Familiarity with Lean methodologies (Toyota Production System, Kaizen)</li></ul><p>Compensation at Joby is a combination of base pay and Restricted Stock Units (RSUs). The target base pay for this position is $25-$39/hr.
