Our leading technology and strong market position enable us to achieve growth targets in the energy transition across current and growing market segments such as hydrogen, data centers and e-mobility. </div>Job Summary We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Site Manager to oversee and manage all aspects of project execution on our sites within Belgium, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Job Responsibilities * Lead, manage, and supervise all on-site activities, including construction, installation, testing, and commissioning of Hitachi Energy products and solutions. * Develop, implement, and enforce site-specific safety plans and procedures in compliance with Hitachi Energy and local regulations, fostering a strong safety culture among all personnel. * Plan, organize, and allocate resources effectively, including manpower, equipment, and materials, to optimize project execution and achieve milestones. * Manage and coordinate subcontractors, ensuring their work aligns with project specifications, schedules, and safety requirements. * Monitor project progress against established schedules and budgets, identifying potential deviations and implementing corrective actions proactively. * Act as the primary point of contact for clients on-site, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring clear communication regarding project status, issues, and resolutions. * Prepare and submit regular progress reports, daily logs, and other required documentation to project management. * Identify and manage project risks and opportunities, developing mitigation strategies as necessary. * Ensure adherence to quality control procedures and specifications throughout the project lifecycle. * Resolve technical and logistical challenges that arise on-site, escalating complex issues to appropriate departments when required. * Conduct site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with project plans, quality standards, and safety regulations.
