You will support in the traction tanks are safety related products and require some dedicated processes and requirements. Your role will be to help the team to ensure that the special process Welding is organized and executed correctly at suppliers in compliance with the actual relevant standards as well as Hitachi Energy internal procedures: Apply and enforce the standard for welding quality in railway: EN 15085 CL1 and general welding quality: ISO 3834-2 standards, as well as other internal guidelines.2. You will support the development of welded parts according to Hitachi Energy milestones process of metal fabrication (welding, painting, design and dimensional part) and follow up until the official validation of the product by the customer. Participate in PMR (Pre-Manufacturing Review) and FAI (First Article Inspection).3. Your role will be to ensure Safety and Quality of the railway components being delivered to Hitachi Energy. This means following the product fabrication during development phase but also in serial production. Inspection of the parts at suppliers will take place during prefabrication, fabrication and once manufacturing is finished in order to get final inspection validated in the first time and no non-conformity for the final product.4. You will alert if any deviation is noticed and organize countermeasures at suppliers. When needed you will define rework procedure (in line with the rest of the Welding Coordination team) and you will monitor the good execution.5. You will review documentation related to Quality &amp; Welding such as: Quality &amp; Inspection Plan, Manufacturing sequence, Welder qualifications, NDT (Non Destructive Testing), jigs and tooling, etc.. and will also check the workshop &amp; work environment: welding stations, traceability of raw material and filler material, welding generators, etc.. along with welding requirements, you will make sure that dimensional and painting requirements are fulfilled. You will have to perform some measurements yourself to cross check the supplier process.6. You will be participating to the resolution of NCR (Non-Conformity Report), Addressing RCA (Root Cause Analysis), Making sure that the relevant corrective as well as preventive actions are taken at suppliers and will participate to the collect and analysis of some KPI (Key Performance Indicators) for Quality &amp; OTD (On Time Deliveries).7. You will actively participate to maintaining and developing the supplier base of Hitachi Energy in China (according to the strategy defined in Hub EUC). This will require follow-up audits at current suppliers as well as new audits at potential suppliers. During supplier development phase you will be required to work hand in the hand with the supplier to bring them up to speed regarding the expected requirements.8. You will be responsible for ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.9.
