You will seamlessly balance strategic leadership coaching with hands-on HR operations, payroll, multi-state compliance, and complex DOT regulations to support our scaling supply chain team.<h3>You will</h3>As the Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) serves as a strategic partner to business leaders and stakeholders across Einride Logistics. In this role you will:Employee Relations &amp; HR Support<ul><li>Manage day-to-day employee relations issues, investigations, and conflict resolution.</li><li>Provides guidance on employee relations, workplace concerns, policy interpretation, and performance matters.</li><li>Partner with leaders on coaching, corrective action and performance management</li><li>Support onboarding, offboarding, and employee life cycle</li></ul>Compliance &amp; Regulatory Support<ul><li>Ensure compliance with federal, state and local employment laws and company policies</li><li>Align with Finance on state registrations, and manage state portals and filings</li><li>Maintain compliance tracking and documentation for audits and reporting</li><li>Maintain compliance processes in multi-state environments</li><li>Manage employee-facing DOT compliance requirements, including driver eligibility, qualifications and adhere to transportation workforce regulations.</li></ul>Business &amp; Organizational Support<ul><li>Partner with leadership on workforce planning, staffing needs, and organizational changes.</li><li>Identify process improvement opportunities and help implement practical HR solutions</li><li>Manage and monitor state portals, notices and reporting requirements</li><li>Track and maintain employment-related documentation</li><li>Supports audits and reporting request as needed</li></ul>HR Operations &amp; Payroll<ul><li>Own and process payroll for hourly and salary employees, ensuring accurate and timely payroll execution.</li><li>Administer employee benefits programs including open enrollment, changes, terminations, and employee support.</li><li>Ensure payroll and benefits compliance with company policies, and applicable federal, state, and local regulations.</li><li>Partner with Finance on payroll reporting, audits and reconciliations.</li><li>Maintain payroll and benefits records and ensure data accuracy in Paylocity.</li></ul><h3>We expect you to:</h3><ul><li>5-10 years of HRBP (or HR Director) experience including employee relations</li><li>Experience in logistics, transportation and operational environments preferred</li><li>Payroll and Benefits administration experience</li><li>Experience in multi-state and/or global environments preferred</li><li>Familiarity with DOT regulations and transportation compliance</li><li>Strong knowledge of employment law and HR compliance</li><li>Experience supporting a remote, hybrid, or distributed multi-state workforce</li></ul>This is a hybrid remote position based in the Austin, TX.
