Our teams work closely with customers to understand their unique needs, solve challenges, and deliver responsive, reliable service when it matters most.At Hitachi Air Centers, our mission is summarized in these three basic statements:<ul><li>Provide consultive design and equipment selection support to ensure our customers’ systems are reliable and efficient</li><li>Provide best in class field service and customer service support to those who rely on us every day to keep production up and running</li><li>Provide the above at a competitive price</li></ul>Summary of the position:Pick up parts from vendors and customers.  Deliver parts to customers and technicians.  Handle shipping and receiving.Stock parts in warehouse. Duties and responsibilities:<ul><li>Checking in freight from vendors. </li><li>Filling back orders and putting parts on shelf.  </li><li>Unloading freight with the forklift.</li><li>Shipping out packages.</li><li>Performing cycle counts on inventory.</li><li>Cleans and organizes the warehouse.</li><li>Pick up parts from vendors and customers.</li><li>Delivers parts to the field for mechanics and customers.</li><li>Keeping parts trucks clean and filling out monthly inspection sheets.  </li></ul>Education:<ul><li>High School Diploma or equivalent.</li><li>Associate degree a plus.</li></ul>Professional experience:<ul><li>One or more years’ experience to include clerical and shipping/receiving work.</li><li>Must have a valid driver’s license and be insurable.</li><li>Ability to operate a forklift required.</li></ul>Key behaviors:<ul><li>Ability to meet the public in a friendly, courteous, and businesslike manner.</li><li>Ability to communicate orally and in writing, and to receive detailed information in person or by phone.</li><li>Ability to read, verify and input accurately a large volume of work with repetitive motions required.</li><li>Ability to perform routine mathematical calculations and accurately transfer numbers to various reports/entries.</li><li>Ability to work well with others and be detail oriented.</li></ul>Direct reports:<ul><li>N/A</li></ul>Physical Qualifications<ul><li>This position involves moderate physical work with lifting or moving up to 50 pounds occasionally and up to 20 pounds frequently.</li><li>Must wear steel-toed shoes or boots.</li><li>This position also includes short periods of sitting at a desk using a computer and long periods sitting in a vehicle delivering parts.</li></ul>The successful candidate is responsible for complying with Hitachi Global Air Power US Code of Ethics and related policies.
