You will play a vital role in ensuring that Lightship procures high-quality goods and services at the most competitive prices while adhering to proper processes, policies, and regulations. This role will report directly to a Global Supply Chain Manager and will execute the procurement plans according to their direction and guidance.</span></div><br><br><h3>Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Supplier Management: Maintain relationships with global suppliers, ensuring consistent quality and timely deliveries.</li><li>Product Development Support: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide supply chain insights, ensuring cost-effective, quick, and efficient product development.</li><li>Supply Chain Optimization: Continuously assess and enhance supply chain efficiency, focusing on cost reduction and lead time minimization.</li><li>Cost Management: Monitor and control supply chain costs, identifying opportunities for cost savings with suppliers.</li><li>Process Improvement: Identify and create process improvements to maintain an efficient  Supply Chain.</li><li>Risk Management: Identify and analyze potential supply chain risks to ensure uninterrupted business operations.</li><li>Data Analysis: Utilize data-driven insights for informed decision-making and support of strategic initiatives.</li></ul><h3>Minimum Qualifications</h3><ul><li>2+ years supply chain experience with strong supplier relationship experience and sourcing knowledge or equivalent </li><li>Strong analytical, strategic, and problem-solving  skills</li><li>Working knowledge of ERP Systems with specific experience creating PO’s, executing Item Receipts, updating Item Inventory Cards and Vendor Information, as well as executing Inventory Adjustments with appropriate Financial details</li><li>Experience in fostering relationships with new and current supply bases </li><li>Ability to prioritize while multi tasking </li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills</li></ul><h3>Preferred Qualifications</h3><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business, engineering, or related field</li><li>Experience in initiating and executing Logistics plans for shipments from Suppliers</li><li>Ability to read technical drawings and specifications as well as basic knowledge of manufacturing process controls and quality assurance</li><li>Familiarity with Non-Disclosure Agreements, General Terms &amp; Conditions, Piece Price Agreements, and other related contracts is a bonus</li><li>Preferred Systems Experience: Netsuite ERP, Jira, Confluence, Google Suite</li><li>Ability to work in a fast paced quickly changing environment with minimal supervision</li></ul><h3>Equity</h3><ul><li>Lightship compensation consists of the yearly salary above plus equity, which gives you a stake in the company.</li></ul><br><div><strong style="font-size:11pt;">Employee Benefits &amp; Philosophy - Applies to Full Time Employees only</strong></div><div>- Healthcare, Dental, Vision</div><div>- 401k</div><div>- Flexible Paid Time Off - that we actually want you to use!</div><div>- 13 Company Holidays: 8 throughout the year + the company observes a week of scheduled downtime during the end of the year, allowing all employees to enjoy a break</div><div>- 12 weeks paid parental leave</div><div>- Yearly LightTrip stipend for an RV trip &amp;/or professional development opportunities </div><div> </div><div><span style="font-size:11pt;">Lightship offers all of its full time employees and their dependents full benefits including health, dental and vision insurance.
