Working closely with senior leadership, you will connect the dots between engineering, manufacturing, construction, and operations to keep our highest-priority timelines on track. This is a true blank-slate opportunity. By applying first-principles thinking, you will help us treat Form Factory as a fully integrated product, ultimately enabling the most advanced high-volume battery manufacturing facility in the world. Relocation assistance is available. <h3>What you'll do:</h3><ul style=""><li>Be the bridge between factory engineering / production and the facility design team.</li><li>Manage the change request process from the inputs phase through design acceptance.</li><li>Vet and organize all of the project requirements and documentation.</li><li>Facilitate communication between all team members.</li><li>Create and manage the design schedule for each project.</li><li>Track the status and open items for each project. Unblock issues slowing down the project to stay on schedule.</li><li>Hold all team members accountable for completing their required tasks.</li><li>Organize design review meetings: set the agenda, take notes, assign action items, and verify completion of the tasks.</li><li>Manage the contract for design consultants: write RFPs for design service, hold touch base meetings, approve invoices, track performance, ect.</li><li>File design related drawings, specs, reports, and similar information in Procore.</li><li>Collaborate with procurement and the project manager for execution to determine the most</li></ul><h3>What you'll bring:</h3><ul style=""><li>5+ years of engineering experience on manufacturing and industrial projects from concept to delivery.</li><li>Expertise in factory design, manufacturing, material flow and construction.</li></ul><ul style=""><li>Advanced project management skills and demonstrated application of project and program management fundamentals to complex engineering problems.</li><li>Excellent communication and documentation skills with the ability to understand complex problems and distill the message into a clear plan.</li><li>Outstanding organizational, communication, leadership, interpersonal and decision-making abilities.</li><li>Experience managing conflicting objectives and compressed timelines within complex industrial project execution.</li><li>Exceptional drive, sense of ownership and resourcefulness.</li><li>Positive mindset and a passion for manufacturing infrastructure.</li><li>Thrives under pressure and in ambiguous environments. </li></ul><h3>Where you'll work: </h3>This role is based at Form Factory 1 in Weirton, WV—an easy commute from the city of Pittsburgh, PA.
