Job DescriptionAs an Analyst or Associate in the Product Strategy &amp; Development Team for Brookfield Asset Management’s Global Client Group, you will have the opportunity to contribute directly to investment product innovation and strategic growth initiatives.This includes conducting research and market intelligence related to the broader industry and competitor landscape, evaluating new business concepts and product ideas, modeling and scenario analysis, and developing new product vehicles, features and capabilities, all with the purpose of spearheading increased growth and innovation for the Firm.You will be responsible for:<ul><li>Monitoring and understanding key market trends and competitor activities within the alternatives industry to inform the Firm’s product development strategy and business decisions</li><li>Evaluating new business and product ideas and supporting the development of data-driven recommendations to drive Firm’s growth</li><li>Contributing to product focused initiatives, including new product launches and enhancements to existing products, in collaboration with senior stakeholders and the investment, fundraising, marketing, legal, tax and fund operations teams</li><li>Creating strategic partnership proposals with investors that leverage the full range of the Firm’s capabilities</li><li>Performing financial analyses and modeling to inform business decisions and growth opportunities</li><li>Supporting the firm’s senior leadership on ad hoc research projects</li><li>Leveraging AI-enabled tools to enhance market intelligence, competitor research, data synthesis, workflow automation and presentation development</li><li>Supporting the preparation and coordination of product-related decisions and exceptions in advance of governance discussions</li></ul>Candidate Profile<ul><li>2 to 6 years of financial services‐related experience with a focus on the alternative asset management industry</li><li>Experience or relevant exposure to product development and implementation process</li><li>Strong work ethic and intellectual curiosity</li><li>Robust research, analytical and quantitative skills</li><li>Excellent communication, writing, and presentation (PowerPoint) skills</li><li>Ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a dynamic, fast-moving environment</li><li>Team player with a positive attitude and proactive approach to work</li><li>Strong interpersonal skills, and an ability to build relationships and work with professionals across the organization</li><li>Undergraduate degree with an excellent academic background; additional credentials including CFA, CAIA, MBA or CPA a bonus</li></ul>#LI-CL2Salary Range: $110,000 - $160,000Our compensation structure is comprised of a base salary and a short-term incentive program (cash bonus). Cash compensation tends to vary based on geography to account for local market conditions and is set to be market competitive.
