Based in Townsville, this Cadet Structural Designer role offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience while working alongside experienced engineers and designers on a diverse range of projects.This is a perfect role for candidates wanting to study for their Associate Degree in Civil Engineering at the <a href="https://www.unisq.edu.au/study/degrees-and-courses/associate-degree-of-engineering">University of Southern QLD</a> or <a href="https://www.cqu.edu.au/courses/cc02/associate-degree-of-engineering">Central QLD University </a>in 2027 and work at the same time. AECOM will pay for your studies and you''ll have a paid job with us - do not miss this opportunity! In this role, you will:<ul><li>Assist with providing drafting and design input, as well as technical support in the production of engineering drawings and documentation.</li><li>Contribute to the delivery of small to major projects, including mining, industrial and infrastructure projects.</li><li>Produce accurate and high-quality design drawings and documentation with a strong attention to detail.</li><li>Collaborate with senior and lead designers, engineers and project managers to deliver project outcomes.</li><li>Develop practical technical skills and gain exposure to multidisciplinary project delivery across the project lifecycle.</li><li>Work within a fast-paced and dynamic team environment while building your professional engineering career.</li></ul>
