Working at Freudenberg: We will wow your world!<h1>Responsibilities:</h1><ul><li>Performs the General Accounting, Reporting &amp; Controlling process in close collaboration with the local entity;</li><li>Executes sub-ledgers (closing) activities in the areas of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, etc.;</li><li>Executes and supports the monthly closing process;</li><li>Supports business review of P&amp;L and BS in strong collaboration with local entity, performs reclassifications/ adjustments based on request/ need;</li><li>Prepares and performs standard journal entries in the ERP system;</li><li>Performs standard Accounting and Controlling analysis, as well as Reporting in close collaboration with the local entity;</li><li>Resolves open issues with the local entity;</li><li>Responsible to document all corresponding Internal Controls and follow all Compliance rules as per Internal Controls Matrix and CPP/ LPP;</li><li>Supports local team in internal and external financial audits;</li><li>Acts as back-up for colleagues who are on leave, as per the internal regulations;</li><li>Provides support to other colleagues and team members, when they require help to fulfill their daily activities;</li><li>Provides support to the extended team, as and when it is the case;</li><li>Assure ad hoc support for projects, initiatives;</li><li>Shows ability to manage own time schedule in order to meet the established deadlines.</li></ul><h1>Qualifications:</h1><ul><li>University graduate in Economics/Accounting;</li><li>Previous experience in Finance &amp; Accounting;</li><li>Experience in the General Accounting, Reporting &amp; Controlling area is a plus;</li><li>Experience in IFRS and the local GAAP is a plus;</li><li>English for business use is mandatory (German language is an advantage);</li><li>Good computer skills related to Microsoft Office; mid level Excel knowledge is mandatory;</li><li>SAP Knowledge or different ERP experience is mandatory;</li><li>Fact-driven and strong analytical skills, detailed oriented attitude to identify accuracy;</li><li>Open to process improvements;</li><li>Team player.</li></ul>‎ ‎ The Freudenberg Group is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to diversity and inclusion.
