Our customers span a wide array of industries including aerospace, defense, mobility, healthcare, pharma, biotech, clean tech, chemicals, energy, lifestyle, food production, and industrial equipment.</p><h2>Who are we looking for?</h2><p>We are seeking a dedicated and proven EHS Manager to join our dynamic team in Rock Hill, SC. This role is pivotal in driving our mission to achieve flawless safety standards and encouraging a positive safety culture.</p><h2>What you get to do!</h2><ul><li>Develop a culture of safety and collaborate with the management team to embed safety principles into all operational activities.</li><li>Develop, implement, and maintain Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs) for all operations and processes.</li><li>Build and lead a comprehensive Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) program, including machine-specific procedures, training protocols, and regular compliance auditing.</li><li>Develop and maintain Emergency Action Plans for various scenarios (severe weather, fire, active shooter, etc.).</li><li>Develop training materials and conduct monthly safety training sessions as required by regulations.</li><li>Manage safety equipment inventory (first aid kits, spill kits, medical boxes, AEDs) ensuring all items remain accurately stocked and operational.</li><li>Serve as the primary contact point for OSHA, city, state, and other regulatory entities for safety-related matters.</li><li>Maintain OSHA 300 logs and ensure accurate, timely safety incident reporting.</li><li>Conduct safety investigations for near misses, OSHA recordables, and safety improvement opportunities, including root cause analysis and corrective actions using lean manufacturing methodologies.</li><li>Track and report plant-wide safety metrics and initiatives via visual management.</li><li>Ensure compliance with all applicable EHS regulations and company policies.</li><li> </li></ul><h2>What you will bring to the Team</h2><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree (STEM field preferred) or equivalent professional experience.</li><li><strong>Minimum 8 years of EHS experience in a manufacturing environment with at least 3 years in a leadership position.</strong></li><li>Holding a Certified Safety Professional (CSP) certification or an equivalent professional credential is highly preferred.</li><li>Experience with lean manufacturing/problem-solving strongly preferred.</li><li>Experience with multi-site operations strongly preferred.</li><li>Experience with aerospace manufacturing preferred.</li><li>Comprehensive knowledge of OSHA regulations, EPA requirements, and other applicable EHS standards.
