Summary of Position The Inventory Specialist is responsible for ensuring efficient and accurate inventory management throughout the organization. You will lead a team and be responsible for overseeing all inventory control processes, ensuring compliance with company guidelines, and making valuable suggestions for process improvement. Your expertise in inventory management and supply chain operations will be essential in maintaining optimal stock levels and resolving discrepancies.  Essential Duties and Responsibilities <ul><li>Monitor all procurement requests of facilities and ensure accuracy in all inbound inventory and maintain records for same   </li><li>Oversee inventory and supply chain management according to company guidelines.   </li><li>Perform critical inventory tasks to ensure the correct number of items are in stock.    </li><li>To investigate, identify and reconcile the cycle count discrepancies, i.e., shortages as well as overages.   </li><li>Review documentation and monitor product codes to search for discrepancies; troubleshoot quantity discrepancies between stock and records.    </li><li>Develop and implement improvements to existing operational procedures to maximize efficiency and cut operations costs.   </li><li>Respond to sales inquiries and purchase orders; collect and analyze data to determine appropriate order quantities; process orders for shipment.   </li><li>Review operations schedules and production requirement to ensure timely order fulfillment.     </li><li>Track rates of accuracy, purchase and return as well as defective items to inform quality control decisions.   </li><li>Prepare, generate, and file financial inventory reports; review reports monthly, or as needed, with management.   </li><li>Nurture positive relationships with suppliers and provide customer service as needed.   </li><li>Work in tandem with various departments and maintain a flexible attitude supporting all the work that helps in achieving organizational goals.   </li><li>Process inventory movements    </li><li>Maintain BOM inventory consumption. </li></ul>
