This role is fully field‑based; however, the company reserves the right to establish a workshop in the United Kingdom in the future. Should a workshop be established, duties may evolve to include limited shop‑based activities as required.Essential Duties and Responsibilities: <ul><li>Perform installation, termination, testing, and commissioning of field service products at customer sites.</li><li>Provide feedback to Engineering to support process improvements related to field installation and product performance.</li><li>Conduct inspection, evaluation, and troubleshooting of customer equipment while deployed or during mobilization/demobilization phases.</li><li>Support Field Service efforts through effective communication with internal departments and project stakeholders.</li><li>Work independently with minimal supervision in remote offshore/onshore environments.</li><li>Approximately 50% of domestic and international travel is required, often on short notice.</li><li>Represent the company in a professional manner during all field assignments.</li><li>Provide guidance and assistance to Field Service Technicians I &amp; II as needed.</li><li>Strong knowledge and hands‑on experience with fiber‑optic splicing and termination in field environments.</li><li>Independently troubleshoot high‑profile situations offshore and at customer facilities.</li><li>Demonstrate strong knowledge of offshore operations, including safety protocols, procedures, and customer requirements.</li></ul>Education and Experience:<ul><li>AS degree or equivalent work experience</li><li>Experience in a workshop environment</li><li>Field Service experience essential</li><li>Electrical and Fiber Optic background preferred</li></ul>Job Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:<ul><li>Working knowledge of MS Word, MS Outlook, and MS Excel is required.</li><li>Must have the ability to read blueprints, procedures, specifications.</li><li>Excellent verbal &amp; written communication skills are required.</li><li>Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>Proficient in the use of standard electronic test equipment (i.e., multimeter, megohmmeter, temperature measurement).</li><li>Must be proficient in the use of hand tools.</li><li>Understanding of Lean Manufacturing concepts.</li></ul>  Teledyne and all of our employees are committed to conducting business with the highest ethical standards.
