This role is critical in supporting the delivery of operational and commercial activities across Transmission Operations, ensuring effective system processes, planning, and coordination of maintenance and fault activities.You will play a key role in managing ERP release strategies, commercial activities and enabling the successful delivery of inspection, maintenance (I&amp;M), and fault-related activities.What you’ll be doing<ul><li>Lead on I&amp;M ERP system release strategy, ensuring alignment with operational requirements working closely with Substation, Circuit and Protection team.</li><li>Provide support across Transmission Operations for, Plant Maintenance Orders (PMOs), Purchase Requisitions and Purchase Orders (Indirect and Direct Purchases), Fault and I&amp;M activities.</li><li>Deliver monthly Transmission Operations (TOps) commercial processes.</li><li>Take ownership of end-to-end I&amp;M system processes, ensuring efficiency and compliance .</li><li>Support the Operations Planning Team and wider department with NAMS queries, scheduled reporting and performance outputs and ystem, data and process improvement activities.</li><li>Liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders and ensure full compliance with SPEN H&amp;S and Procurement policies and procedures.</li><li>Contribute as a proactive and collaborative member of the Transmission Operations &amp; Maintenance team.</li></ul>What you’ll bring<ul><li>Proven experience/expert knowledge in design of Protection and Control equipment and associated ancillaries at voltages of 33kV to 400kV.</li><li>Ability to implement, apply and promote CDM and Health &amp; Safety best practice in a design environment.</li><li>Ability to manage under pressure and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment with a diverse and demanding workload.</li><li>Experience developing detailed design of substation protection and control systems, including drawings, settings calculations and development of IED settings/configuration files.</li><li>Experience in working in a dynamic environment and ensuring delivery of engineering outputs.</li><li>Ability to operate in an environment of uncertainty and incomplete information and make well-reasoned decisions.</li><li>Lead by example and drive transformational change.</li><li>Excellent presentation skills, including the ability to apply persuasive influence to drive decisions through engineering analysis.</li></ul>To be successful, as minimum you will need to demonstrate:<ul><li>Experience working within Transmission, Utilities, or Asset Management environment.</li><li>Strong understanding of maintenance planning systems (I&amp;M / ERP / SAP-type systems), work order and purchasing processes.</li><li>Ability to manage end-to-end operational processes.</li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.</li><li>Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.</li><li>Ability to assess, prioritise and confidently make the right decisions in a dynamic service environment whilst anticipating issues and putting in place effective strategies to manage these.</li></ul>   What’s in it for you As well as a competitive salary which is reviewed annually, you can also enjoy a number of other benefits.
