You will bridge the gap between our real-time data pipelines and intuitive user interfaces, ensuring a seamless experience for our users.</p><ul><li>Develop and maintain responsive front-end applications and the robust backend APIs that support them.</li><li>Implement real-time data streaming features to visualize dynamic data on maps and dashboards.</li><li>Collaborate cross-functionally with Backend, Data Science, and DevOps teams to integrate AI models into the user experience.</li><li>Participate in the full development lifecycle—from coding and code reviews to deployment and feature monitoring.</li><li>Write clean, maintainable, well-documented, and thoroughly tested code across the entire stack.</li><li>Monitor application performance, troubleshoot bugs, and assist in root cause analysis for production issues.</li></ul><h3><strong>What You Need</strong></h3><ul><li>BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience).</li><li>2–4 years of professional software engineering experience across the full stack.</li><li>Solid proficiency in modern frontend frameworks (e.g., React, Vue, TypeScript) and backend languages (e.g., Python, Node.js, Rust, Go).</li><li>Experience handling real-time data on the frontend (e.g., WebSockets, SSE) and managing application state.</li><li>Good understanding of API design (REST/GraphQL), relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL), and caching layers (e.g., Redis).</li><li>Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and modern development workflows (Git).</li><li>Able to leverage AI coding assistants to increase velocity while fully understanding and taking ownership of all code you commit.</li><li>Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset to thrive in a fast-paced team environment.</li></ul><h3><strong>Bonus Qualifications</strong></h3><ul><li>Experience with web-based mapping and visualization libraries (e.g., Mapbox, MapLibre).</li><li>Experience with real-time audio consumption workflows, including Opus decoding, browser audio rendering APIs, and managing multi-channel live audio streams via LiveKit/WebRTC.</li><li>Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) and basic Kubernetes concepts.</li><li>Exposure to event-driven architectures or streaming systems.</li><li>A deep interest or background in aerospace, aviation, or autonomous systems.</li></ul><p>Please note that this job description is intended to provide a general overview of the position and does not include an exhaustive list of responsibilities and qualifications</p><p>At Archer we aim to attract, retain, and motivate talent that possess the skills and leadership necessary to grow our business.
