We are well funded, have amazing customers across industries and geographies, established strategic partnerships with leading ERP and consulting firms, and are growing fast! Role OverviewThe Engineering Quality Lead will own product quality across the entire software development lifecycle and will be responsible for reducing defects, preventing recurring issues, improving engineering behavior, and ensuring quality is built into every stage of development. We are looking for someone who will act as the quality authority within Engineering, driving accountability, enforcing quality processes, and leveraging Claude Code extensively to analyze issues, identify root causes, review code, improve testing, and improve engineering outcomes. This is not a QA Manager or Lead role, or a QA Automation Lead role. We are looking for a person who will use AI to improve the quality of the product, not just automate testing or manage QA engineers. The responsibilities of this role span across engineering development and QA.What You'll DoClaude Code &amp; AI-Driven Quality Leadership<ul style=""><li>Use Claude Code daily to analyze Jira issues, incidents, support tickets, and production defects.</li><li>Use Claude Code to trace issues to root causes within the codebase.</li><li>Use Claude Code to identify recurring defect patterns and categorize root causes.</li><li>Use Claude Code to review code changes and identify opportunities to prevent future defects.</li><li>Use Claude Code to generate, review, and improve Playwright and other automated test suites.</li><li>Use Claude Code to identify missing edge cases and testing gaps.</li></ul>Automation Testing Requirements<ul style=""><li>Strong hands-on experience designing, building, and maintaining automated test frameworks.</li><li>Demonstrated experience creating end-to-end, API, integration, regression, and performance test automation.</li><li>Extensive experience with Playwright and modern web automation frameworks.</li><li>Experience with Selenium, AccelQ, LoadRunner, JMeter, Cypress, or equivalent automation platforms.</li><li>Ability to review and evaluate the quality, coverage, and maintainability of automation test suites created by engineering teams.</li><li>Experience integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.</li><li>Ability to define automation standards and enforce automation coverage requirements.</li></ul>Engineering Quality Strategy and Standards<ul style=""><li>Analyze production incidents, customer-reported defects, and engineering issues to identify systemic root causes.</li><li>Build defect taxonomies and categorize issues by underlying causes.</li><li>Drive corrective and preventive actions across engineering teams.</li><li>Define and enforce release readiness criteria and quality gates.</li><li>Lead post-incident reviews and root cause analysis activities.</li><li>Verify that developers create and execute appropriate end-to-end, integration, API, and regression tests for every significant code change.</li><li>Audit test coverage, release quality, and engineering compliance with defined
