Plant Operator - Mechanical  We are looking for a Plant Operator - Mechanical to join our Power Plant team in Pecos, Texas. What will you be doing As a Plant Operator - Mechanical, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of mechanical equipment within the plant, ensuring optimal performance of engines and auxiliary systems. Working closely with Control Room Operators and maintenance teams, you will monitor system parameters, support troubleshooting activities, and contribute to maintenance efforts during assigned shifts. As a Plant Operator - Mechanical, you will focus on these responsibilities: <ul><li>Monitor operating parameters of engines and auxiliary equipment during shift operations</li><li>Identify and report abnormalities to Control Room Operators in a timely manner</li><li>Participate in troubleshooting activities and corrective maintenance during shifts</li><li>Perform routine and corrective maintenance tasks as assigned</li><li>Maintain accurate operational logs for main and auxiliary equipment</li><li>Identify and respond appropriately to alarms, including temperature and pressure deviations</li><li>Ensure compliance with all safety policies, procedures, and regulations</li><li>Promote a safe, clean, and well-organized plant environment.</li></ul> To be successful in this role, we expect you to have:<ul><li>1+ year of experience in mechanical operations and/or maintenance in an industrial environment</li><li>Strong ability to monitor and interpret operational data</li><li>Solid troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities</li><li>Effective communication skills for reporting and coordination</li><li>Ability to follow established procedures and safety standards</li><li>High school diploma - Technical diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent) preferred</li><li>Willingness to work in shifts, including nights and weekends As the plant is a 24/7 power generation facility, this position requires working 12-hour rotating shifts to support continuous plant operations.
