Plant Operator - Electrical We are looking for a Plant Operator – Electrical to join our Power Plant team in Pecos, Texas. What will you be doingAs a Plant Operator - Electrical, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of electrical systems within a continuous production or power plant environment. You will work closely with Control Room Operators and maintenance teams to monitor equipment performance, troubleshoot issues, and support ongoing plant operations. As a Plant Operator - Electrical, you will focus on these responsibilities: <ul><li>Inspect electrical systems of engines and auxiliary equipment to detect faults and implement corrective or preventive actions</li><li>Identify and report abnormalities to Control Room Operators in a timely manner</li><li>Participate in troubleshooting activities and corrective maintenance during shifts</li><li>Perform routine and corrective maintenance tasks as assigned</li><li>Maintain accurate operational logs for main and auxiliary equipment</li><li>Identify and respond appropriately to alarms, including temperature and pressure deviations</li><li>Ensure compliance with all safety policies, procedures, and regulations</li><li>Promote a safe, clean, and well-organized plant environment.</li></ul> To be successful in this role, we expect you to have:<ul><li>1+ year of experience working with electrical systems in an industrial or power plant environment</li><li>Knowledge of electrical control systems in a continuous production or power plant setting</li><li>Strong ability to monitor and interpret operational data</li><li>Solid troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities</li><li>Effective communication skills for reporting and coordination</li><li>Ability to follow established procedures and safety standards</li><li>High school diploma - Technical diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent) preferred</li><li>Willingness to work in shifts, including nights and weekends</li></ul> Why you and usYou will be a part of a global organization with local presence and work in an exciting and dynamic working environment with highly motivated and skilled co-workers.
