Watch “<a href="https://youtu.be/BtjIN9oHRMY?si=ONfWJ-vFlLZckjrE">Culture is our Passion</a>” to learn more about us.We are looking for someone who demonstrates:<ul><li>Passionate drive to innovate and create</li><li>Integrity to the core</li><li>Enthusiastic customer focus</li><li>Consistent interactive teamwork</li><li>Desire for continuous improvement and top performance.</li></ul>Here is a glimpse of what you will do:<ul><li>Regularly communicate with the Product Management team to understand the product needs and translate them into engineering requirements and design solutions.</li><li>Perform system architecture design, including functional block diagrams and interface definitions.</li><li>Develop and manage system level requirements from definition to implementation and verification.</li><li>Drive all engineering disciplines and work closely with manufacturing teams through the development cycle to bring the product from concept to mass production.</li><li>Create and implement test plans to bring up, debug, and validate designs to meet functional and performance goals with a focus on safety and reliability.</li><li>Own and develop system level modelling tools that will guide the product design and ensure that the product performance meets all customer and product requirements.</li><li>Support automation of design processes and tools to scale the business.</li><li>Gather, process, and analyze large sets of field data and factory test data to guide the investigation and resolution of service anomalies and improve future products.</li><li>Participate in system level design and process FMEAs to ensure design robustness, safety, and reliability.</li><li>Perform System level simulations/ FEA/ Power System Studies.</li></ul>Here is some of what you will need (required):<ul><li>MS/PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Structural Engineering, System Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent.</li><li>12-15 years’ experience in designing complex Mechanical products/Systems/Structural/Electrical designs. Should be a subject matter expert in his own domain. Expertise in FEA/ Power System Studies will be an added advantage.</li><li>8+ years’ experience in System Engineering of multi-disciplinary systems.</li><li>Basic knowledge of system engineering methodologies, documents and design processes.</li><li>Experience with the full product lifecycle, from requirement definition to design, production, and field management.</li><li>Experience operating in a multi-disciplinary and multi-functional environment</li><li>Experience performing trade studies and lifecycle cost analysis.</li><li>Experience writing requirement specifications, verification plans and test plans.</li><li>Strong eye toward safety, constructability, system maintenance.</li></ul>Here are a few of our preferred experiences<ul><li>Knowledge of Python, MATLAB, Ansys FEA /ETAP or equivalent.</li><li>Experience with requirement management process and tools (Jama preferred).</li><li>FMEA, root cause analysis, investigation of service anomalies.</li><li>Understanding of solar industry and mechanical tracking systems.</li><li>Knowledge of applicable renewable energy and electrical codes and standards.</li></ul>At Nextpower, we are driving the global energy transition with an integrated clean energy technology platform that combines intelligent structural, electrical, and digital solutions for utility-scale power plants.
