The ideal candidate will thrive in a start-up environment where the results of their work play a key role in advancing Aeroshield’s technology.<ul><li>Manufacturing &amp; Operations: Perform manufacturing activities which include aerogel casting, process equipment operation and monitoring, and aerogel handling.</li><li>Quality &amp; Yield Tracking: Track production yield and identify where issues or defects originate, documenting results using AeroShield standard practices and collaborating with the team to implement solutions.</li><li>Analysis: Run simple analytical testing equipment per SOPs and document results</li><li>Engineering Collaboration: Collaborate with the engineering team to build, assemble, and test novel in-house designed machines, actively engaging in problem-solving and brainstorming to develop new solutions for technician-adjacent work.</li></ul>This role requires candidates to be on-site 5 days a week at our facility in Waltham, MA.QualificationsMany great team members do not fit a “standard blueprint”.
