This role requires strong organizational skills, technical understanding, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure maintenance activities are executed safely, efficiently, and on time. The Maintenance Planner creates and manages preventive maintenance plans, oversees work orders, coordinates with technicians and external vendors, and maintains accurate documentation of all maintenance activities. A key focus of the role is identifying opportunities to improve maintenance processes, enhance equipment reliability, and support operational productivity. Core responsibilities include analyzing equipment history, determining maintenance requirements, estimating labor and material needs, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards. The Maintenance Planner works closely with maintenance supervisors, engineers, and operations teams to align maintenance activities with production schedules and business objectives. Success in this role requires proficiency with CMMS systems, strong communication skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
