Working alongside MassMutual, CVC DIF will enable Low Carbon to significantly expand its installed capacity and drive the next stage of growth as a diversified, leading next-generation IPP.Role DescriptionWe are looking for an experienced solar professional to join our UK Operations and Maintenance team as a Site Technician.The role involves carrying out preventative and reactive maintenance across our UK Solar PV and BESS portfolio. Reporting to the O&amp;M Manager and working closely with the wider O&amp;M team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of our assets.This role is based across Buckingham, Oxford, Northamptonshire and Berkshire.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Carry out preventative maintenance activities and deliver maintenance programmes to ensure installations operate at peak performance</li><li>Identify, locate and respond to fault situations</li><li>Understand the contractual requirements for each site to support effective management</li><li>Support plant monitoring and performance analysis in collaboration with the monitoring team</li><li>Ensure compliance with legislation, company policies and health and safety requirements</li><li>Carry out due diligence site and paperwork inspections</li><li>Manage stock and materials</li><li>Assist with system upgrade works</li><li>Undertake relevant training and development</li><li>Supervise and manage contractors where required</li><li>Participate in weekend on-call duties on a rota basis (1 in 4 weekends)</li></ul>Skills &amp; ExperienceProspective candidates should be qualified in an engineering discipline or able to demonstrate equivalent experience, hold an Electrical Installation qualification to Level 3 City &amp; Guilds or NVQ equivalent, or possess an equivalent electronics qualification. Candidates should also hold BS7671 Wiring Regulations 18th Edition and have a sound working knowledge of the regulations.A City &amp; Guilds Inspection and Testing qualification to Level 3 is desirable.
