Are you looking to be part of a dynamic and growing organization whose company culture is centered on empowering its employees to make decisions?  As one of the leading manufacturers in producing high performance, high-quality batteries for use in today's modern general aviation aircraft, Teledyne Battery Business is focused on hiring the best available talent!</div><div>Job Summary:  Perform operation on assigned machines used in the production of the company’s product.  Work under the technical leadership of a Lead or other more skilled employee.  Receive periodic checks of work in process and complete inspection of final work for compliance with job standards. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.  Other duties may be assigned. <ul><li>Utilize operating work instructions, manufacturing orders, and instructions from supervisor or lead to perform production tasks.</li><li>Control and adjust machine settings to complete simple tasks accurately, according to specifications, and in a timely manner</li><li>Monitor settings on machine using electronic displays and visual checks</li><li>Use simple measurement instruments such as calipers, gauges, and scales to verify correct product build specifications</li><li>Identify quality defects during production process and notify appropriate person</li><li>Accurately complete traceability forms for production process as well as EHS requirements</li><li>Be able to perform operator PM functions on assigned machine</li><li>Adhere to PPE requirements, to include respirator, gloves, apron, safety glasses, steel toe shoes, and appropriate sleeves or Tyvek suits as needed</li><li>Be familiar with the process flow of product through the assigned department</li><li>Navigate and use basic computer programs to record necessary quality information</li><li>Keep operating area clean, which could include vacuuming, mopping, or washing down equipment</li><li>Adhere to the applicable training program for constant progress to ensure growth within the department</li></ul> Requirements:Required<ul><li>High school diploma or general education degree (GED</li><li>At least a minimum three (3) months machine experience or training</li><li>Must be able to obtain forklift certification</li><li>Required to stand for lengthy periods of time, wear mask, tyvek suit and withstand hot working environment</li><li>Close/peripheral vision required</li><li>Must be able to read and understand manufacturing orders</li><li>Basic math and ability to use calculator</li><li>Ability to effectively communicate in English oral and written format</li><li>Ability to subtract and add four to five digit numbers</li><li>Must have the ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50+ lbs.</li><li>Must be a U.S. Person or U.S. Citizen (includes lawful permanent residents, refugees, green card holders, and asylees)</li></ul></div>  Salary Range: $34,300.00-$45,700.000The anticipated salary range listed for this role is only an estimate.
