You will operate inventory systems, work closely with the warehouse team on building solar installation kits, and transport materials to the appropriate locations in the warehouse. Experienced in operating a forklift, managing warehouse team time and shifts as well as other labor-related warehouse duties.</span></div><br><br><h3>Job Duties:  </h3><ul><li>Sustains and follows all standard operating procedures of the warehouse. </li><li>Manages departmental communication and coordination with Warehouse, Regional Operation Manager, Purchasing, and Scheduling teams. </li><li>Places all facility, standard, and non-standard item orders for Installation and office</li><li>Operate NetSuite inventory system daily </li><li>Conduct weekly cycle counts </li><li>Manage warehouse team time and attendance in ADP </li><li>Work with the service department on Returned Merch Authorization (RMA).  </li><li>Assist Fleet Manager with Fleet Maintenance</li><li>Ensures all kits are ready for installation and are properly loaded   </li><li>Solves any issues regarding inventory, jobs kits, and material requests</li><li>Participate in monthly Consignment cycle counts</li><li>Reduce material waste       </li><li>Maintain responsibility for any VMI and PPI overages and shortages</li><li>Operates various equipment and machines including forklift, pallet jack, and vehicles. </li><li>Ensures that the warehouse is clean, organized, secure, and safe per compliance</li><li>Holds responsibility for warehouse team performance management including disciplinary action</li><li>Trains warehouse employees on processes and procedures </li><li>Enforces operating instruction and safety policies </li><li>Assists with other duties as assigned by Warehouse Operations Manager and Regional Operations Manager</li></ul><h3>Qualifications:</h3><ul><li>2 years of warehouse or manufacturing experience </li><li>Prior warehouse supervisory experience is strongly preferred </li><li>Solar or electrical industry experience is strongly preferred </li><li>Valid driver's license required </li><li>Must have prior experience with operating a Forklift </li><li>Must have prior Excel experience</li></ul><h3>Special Knowledge/Skills:</h3><ul><li>Knowledge of basic warehouse safety regulations and procedures </li><li>Knowledge of basic warehouse, logistics, and supply chain management </li><li>Ability to meet deadlines</li><li>Strong organizational skills and attention to detail </li><li>Forklift Operator experience preferred </li><li>Solar and electrical product knowledge preferred WMS or ERP experience preferred </li><li>General computer (Microsoft), Excel email skills, and basic data entry </li><li>Building collaborative relationships </li><li>Self-leadership and team player</li><li>Sounds decision making and problem-solving abilities </li><li>Result-driven and self-motivated Possess a trustworthy and positive attitude.</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills required</li><li>Excellent customer service skills required</li><li>Must be schedule flexible</li></ul><h3>Physical Requirements:</h3><ul><li>Ability to lift 50+ lbs. </li><li>Must be able to bend and lift. </li><li>Ability to work in 100 degrees as well as 30 to 40-degree weather in wet and dry conditions.</li><li>Prolonged periods of sitting and standing </li></ul><br><div><span style="font-size:16px;">We understand you may be a great candidate without fitting all our preferred experience, knowledge, skills, and attributes.
